Those Cobras were some pretty cool cars, even though the Mustang II wasn't extremely popular. I had a '78 Ghia silver with matching vinyl top and 4 speed. It had 39,000 miles when I bought it. I installed a sunroof a few months later. I was pretty nervous cutting through the roof, but it turned out perfect. They still use Mustang II front suspensions in hot rods today.<quoted text>
My '78 King Cobra had a 302 with a 4-speed.
Went through a clutch in 10,000 miles.
True story bro'.

351 was junk, 302 was sweet!

Oh yeah - I loved that car - the 5.0L was a stout mill for sure. I would've rather had a C-4 automatic with a torque converter - never would've had the clutch issues.
