The Wind Sings To The Rain...

Sometimes
if you listen
there's a sound
that you can't
quite explain
During the frenzy
of a troubling
thunderstorm
The wind sings
to the rain...
Lightening flashes
and Thunder roars
They call out
their own names
and under the sounds
Of fury's wrath
In the hushed whispers
Of a lovers song
The wind sings
to the rain...
@}-'--,---

Me to you....

When youre weary, feeling small,
When tears are in your eyes, I will dry them all;
Im on your side. when times get rough
And friends just cant be found,
Like a bridge over troubled water
I will lay me down.
Like a bridge over troubled water
I will lay me down.

When youre down and out,
When youre on the street,
When evening falls so hard
I will comfort you.
Ill take your part.
When darkness comes
And pains is all around,
Like a bridge over troubled water
I will lay me down.
Like a bridge over troubled water
I will lay me down.

Sail on silvergirl,
Sail on by.
Your time has come to shine.
All your dreams are on their way.
See how they shine.
If you need a friend
Im sailing right behind.
Like a bridge over troubled water
I will ease your mind.
Like a bridge over troubled water
I will ease your mind.

Tie Your Heart at Night to Mine

Tie your heart at night to mine, love,
and both will defeat the darkness
like twin drums beating in the forest
against the heavy wall of wet leaves.

Night crossing: black coal of dream
that cuts the thread of earthly orbs
with the punctuality of a headlong train
that pulls cold stone and shadow endlessly.

Love, because of it, tie me to a purer movement,
to the grip on life that beats in your breast,
with the wings of a submerged swan,

So that our dream might reply
to the sky's questioning stars
with one key, one door closed to shadow.

Sunscreen song

If I could offer you only one tip for the future, sunscreen would be
it. The long term benefits of sunscreen have been proved by
scientists whereas the rest of my advice has no basis more reliable
than my own meandering
experience…I will dispense this advice now.

Enjoy the power and beauty of your youth; oh nevermind; you will not
understand the power and beauty of your youth until they have faded.
But trust me, in 20 years you’ll look back at photos of yourself and
recall in a way you can’t grasp now how much possibility lay before
you and how fabulous you really looked….You’re not as fat as you
imagine.

Don’t worry about the future; or worry, but know that worrying is as
effective as trying to solve an algebra equation by chewing
bubblegum. The real troubles in your life are apt to be things that
never crossed your worried mind; the kind that blindside you at 4pm
on some idle Tuesday.

Do one thing everyday that scares you

Sing

Don’t be reckless with other people’s hearts, don’t put up with
people who are reckless with yours.

Floss

Don’t waste your time on jealousy; sometimes you’re ahead, sometimes
you’re behind…the race is long, and in the end, it’s only with
yourself.

Remember the compliments you receive, forget the insults; if you
succeed in doing this, tell me how.

Keep your old love letters, throw away your old bank statements.

Stretch

Don’t feel guilty if you don’t know what you want to do with your
life…the most interesting people I know didn’t know at 22 what they
wanted to do with their lives, some of the most interesting 40 year
olds I know still don’t.

Get plenty of calcium.

Be kind to your knees, you’ll miss them when they’re gone.

Maybe you’ll marry, maybe you won’t, maybe you’ll have children, maybe
you won’t, maybe you’ll divorce at 40, maybe you’ll dance the funky
chicken on your 75th wedding anniversary…what ever you do, don’t
congratulate yourself too much or berate yourself either – your
choices are half chance, so are everybody else’s. Enjoy your body,
use it every way you can…don’t be afraid of it, or what other people
think of it, it’s the greatest instrument you’ll ever
own..

Dance…even if you have nowhere to do it but in your own living room.

Read the directions, even if you don’t follow them.

Do NOT read beauty magazines, they will only make you feel ugly.

Get to know your parents, you never know when they’ll be gone for
good.

Be nice to your siblings; they are the best link to your past and the
people most likely to stick with you in the future.

Understand that friends come and go,but for the precious few you
should hold on. Work hard to bridge the gaps in geography and
lifestyle because the older you get, the more you need the people you
knew when you were young.

Live in New York City once, but leave before it makes you hard; live
in Northern California once, but leave before it makes you soft.

Travel.

Accept certain inalienable truths, prices will rise, politicians will
philander, you too will get old, and when you do you’ll fantasize
that when you were young prices were reasonable, politicians were
noble and children respected their elders.

Respect your elders.

Don’t expect anyone else to support you. Maybe you have a trust fund,
maybe you have a wealthy spouse; but you never know when either one
might run out.

Don’t mess too much with your hair, or by the time you're 40, it will
look 85.

Be careful whose advice you buy, but, be patient with those who
supply it. Advice is a form of nostalgia, dispensing it is a way of
fishing the past from the disposal, wiping it off, painting over the
ugly parts and recycling it for more than
it’s worth.

But trust me on the sunscreen…

I dig this one very much...

Every Little Thing She Does

Ooh, when I see her in my tee shirt
Brushin' her teeth, dancin' to the radio
Ooh, her coffee and her kissin'
The way she looks at me, I hate to see her leave
But I sure love watchin' her go

Every little thing she does
Every little thing she does
I keep fallin' in love with every single simple
Ordinary little thing she does

Ooh, paintin' on her toenails
Watchin' TV, got her mama on the telephone
Ooh, in a corner at a party
She puts down her drink, gives me a little wink
And says wait 'til I get you home

Every little thing she does
Every little thing she does
I keep fallin' in love with every single simple
Ordinary little thing she does

Listenin' to her breathe, watchin' her when she sleeps
The bubbles in her bath, the funny little laugh
Oh yea, oh yea, oh yea

Every little thing she does
Every little thing she does
I keep fallin' in love with every single simple
Ordinary little thing she does

Kashmir
Led Zeppelin

Oh let the sun beat down upon my face
And stars to fill my dreams
I am the traveller of both time and space
To be where I have been
To sit with elders of gentle race
This world has seldom seen
Talk of days for which they sit and wait
All will be revealed

Talk and song from tongues of lifting grace
Whose sounds carress my ears
But not a word I heard could I relate
The story was quite clear
All I see turns to brown
As the sun burns the ground
And my eyes fill with sand
As I scan this wasted land

Oh, pilot of the storm who leaves no trace
Like thoughts inside a dream
Heed the path that led me to that place
Yellow desert stream
My Shangri-La beneath the summer moon
I will return again
Sure as the dust that floats behind you
When moving through Kashmir

Oh father of the four winds fill my sails
Across the sea of years
With no provision but an open face
Along the straits of fear.

My Dear Love,

Yesterday, I was passing by your rectangular house in trigonometric lane. There I saw you with your cute circular face, conical nose and spherical eyes, standing in your triangular garden. Before seeing you my heart was a null set, but when a vector of magnitude (likeness) from your eyes at a deviation of theta radians made a tangent to my heart, it differentiated. My love for you is a quadratic equation with real roots, which only you can solve by making good binary relation with me. The cosine of my love for you extends to infinity. I promise that I should not resolve you into partial functions but if I do so, you can integrate me by applying the limits from zero to infinity. You are as essential to me as an element of a set. The geometry of my life revolves around your acute personality. My love, if you do not meet me at parabola restaurant on date 10 at sunset, when the sun is making an angle of 160 degrees, my heart would be like a solved polynomial of degree 10. With love from your higher order derivatives of maxima and minima, of an unknown function.Yours ever loving,

Bus stop, wet day, she's there, I say,
"Please share my umbrella"
Bus stop, bus goes, she stays, love grows
Under my umbrella

All that summer we enjoyed it,
Wind and rain and shine
That umbrella we employed it
By August, she was mine

Every morning I would see her waiting at the stop
Sometimes she'd shop,
And she would show me what she'd bough
All the people stared as if we were both quite insan
Someday my name and hers are going to be the same

That's the way the whole thing started
Silly, but it's true
Thinking of a sweet romance
Beginning in a queue

Came the sun the ice was melting,
No more sheltering now
Nice to think that that umbrella
Led me to a vow

Every morning I would see her waiting at the stop
Sometimes she'd shop,
And she would show me what she'd bought
All the people stared as if we were both quite insane
Someday my name and hers are going to be the same

Bus stop, wet day, she's there, I say,
"Please share my umbrella"
Bus stop, bus goes, she stays, love grows
Under my umbrella

All that summer we enjoyed it,
Wind and rain and shine
That umbrella we employed it
By August, she was mine

I love this song and i love Coldplay

Speed Of Sound lyrics

How long before I get in?
Before it starts, before I begin?
How long before you decide?
Before I know what it feels like?
Where To, where do I go?
If you never try, then you'll never know.
How long do I have to climb,
Up on the side of this mountain of mine?

Look up, I look up at night,
Planets are moving at the speed of light.
Climb up, up in the trees,
every chance that you get,
is a chance you seize.
How long am I gonna stand,
with my head stuck under the sand?
I'll start before I can stop,
before I see things the right way up.

All that noise, and all that sound,
All those places I got found.
And birds go flying at the speed of sound,
to show you how it all began.
Birds came flying from the underground,
if you could see it then you'd understand?

Ideas that you'll never find,
All the inventors could never design.
The buildings that you put up,
Japan and China all lit up.
The sign that I couldn't read,
or a light that I couldn't see,
some things you have to believe,
but others are puzzles, puzzling me.

All that noise, and all that sound,
All those places I got found.
And birds go flying at the speed of sound,
to show you how it all began.
Birds came flying from the underground,
if you could see it then you'd understand,
ah when you see it then you'll understand?

All those signs, I knew what they meant.
Some things you can invent.
Some get made, and some get sent,
Ooh?
Birds go flying at the speed of sound,
to show you how it all began.
Birds came flying from the underground,
if you could see it then you'd understand,
ah, when you see it then you'll understand?

PURE ECSTASY

Author: Marmee

Can you imagine a romantic table set for two?
With candles flickering against the array of flowers
As their scent fills the room
The embers brightly burning in the fireplace
And the sound of the fire crackling is heard.
The finest bottle of French wine is set for you and I.
Our favorite love songs
Are softly playing in the background.
Candles and the fireplace is our only light
A perfect setting for our
Romantic evening of pure ecstasy.
Our hearts both filled with passion, wanting
To blend as one, embraced and looking deeply
Into one anothers eyes we caress each
Others face with the gentleness of our hands.
We make a toast to our gift of love sent from above.
As we drink from each others glass with hands entwined.
Softly I kiss your lips that now taste like sweet wine
And with the tip of my tongue I trace
The outline of your soft tender lips.
Taking me in your strong arms you lift me and carry me
Before the blazing fire and slowly lay me down as we
Feel love's desire flow swiftly through our veins.
With the fire flickering on our bodies ...
Our passion now becomes the heat of the night.
As we dance the dance of love in perfect rhythm,
We slowly fall into ecstasy
And our bodies melt together as one.
Emotions flowing and hearts soaring,
Two bodies blending in an unimaginable way ...
The most beautiful way ... the way God intended it to be
Between a man and woman who love deeply.
Two lovers who desire one another
For the whole eternity.
