So what about that flat tax? The rich pay 15% of what they make and you pay 15% if what you make. That's everyone paying their fair share.

Everyone wants equality until they get to taxation. Then they figure they ought to pay less than someone else because that person can "afford" it.

With *voter fraud* at a whopping .00004% of all voting (except on Topix troll polls where, admittedly it's at 10,000%) clearly, voter ID laws can slash that to .00003%. I mean, it's impossible to fake an ID, right?

The only flaw with that is..........HIS, 15% is much easier for HIM to pay, than MY 15%, is for ME. HE can really afford to pay 15%, it's much harder with my pay, to afford 15%. Ratio wise, it hurts ME, much more than HIM.

How is it easier? It's still 15%. Is it any easier for someone earning $10 million to pay $1.5 million vs someone making $50,000 to pay $7,500?

And he's paying a h3ll of a lot more for his 1 vote and Constitutional rights than you are.

Most of the flat tax plans include exemptions/deductions for low wage or large family situations. That's probably a good idea but it opens the door for those pillars of virtue in congress to play with the numbers for vote pandering.
