To be honest I really didn't like any of them but you have to vote or at least you should or you can't btch about anything.

There was no way I could have or would have voted for Mitt after all the bs he pulled in Ohio plus I don't agree with his social issues...

Thatís funny, I had a party over the holidays and not a person there voted for Oídummy. Many folks still donít want to be wards of the state and mooches, fortunately. Many of donít think the primary function of the federal government should be to take from everyone who is self-sufficient and havenít made poor choices in life and give an ever increasing amount to the folks who are mooches, rely on the government to care for them, and who have made poor choices in life.

The only thing the democrats offer you are higher taxes, unless you are a mooch. If you are a mooch, they will give you all kinds of shyte in the hopes that you will vote for them in hopes of more shyte. I can understand mooches loving them. I canít understand any person who is self-sufficient supporting them.

Most of us realize that if you are raising a family having taxes raised and having health insurance premiums increased, does absolutely nothing for your family Ö it may do more for mooches and their families, but not for self-respecting responsible adults who arenít on the dole.

Bush as faulty as he was, gave all Americans tax cuts. In contrast, Obama has given handouts to mooches, raised taxes, and raised health insurance premiums for those who arenít mooches. I donít think mainstream America are mooches. A lot of them know what the dems are all about. Some are misinformed to think that there are enough super wealthy people such that the dems can do all the stuff they want to do for mooches and it wonít affect their bottom line. Itís not true, either we will pay for it or our children and grandchildren will pay for it.

It's obvious OC has no appreciation for basic concepts such as interest rates and debt and the implications of our fiscal policy, considering she's completely silent on the dire CBO report.

She'd rather just keep talking about what mainstream America wants. Obviously mainstream America wants our country bankrupt, amirite?

I don't agree with the republicans on most social issues either, but social issues don't bankrupt a nation. Social issues won't mean d' to me when none of us have a pot to pi$s in.

Unlike you, when our nation is bankrupt, I'm not going to sit around and console myself by telling myself, well at least women can get abortions at 8.5 months, gay folks have the right to be just as miserable as straight folks and get married, and baby seals are safe.

I'm not your sweetie, cupcake.

Since when is using official statistics from the Congressional Budget Office, which is a non-partisan federal agency, nothing more than ďinsight[ing]Ē[sic] panic? Really, thatís your rebuttal? Are they lying? Do you know better than they? Did they teach you all about the federal budget in your Iím sure very rigorous weekend class to become a real estate agent, such that you know more than they know, lol? You obviously canít rebut what I have said. So you just say Iím ďinsight[ing]Ē[sic] panic.
Those of us without their head in the clouds would call it using official government statistics and facts.

What about this Ö this is a clip of Geithner from CSPAN using Obamaís own numbers and it unequivocally shows starting in 2021 we are fíd big time:

http://www.youtube.com/watch...

Youíd earn more credibility I think with the group if you acknowledged that we have serious debt problems and need to do something about them instead of just shrugging them off as if what I am saying has no merit. I can even get on board with folks saying that right now, we need to hold off on drastic spending cuts because of the state of the economy, but need to get on them very soon. I canít get on board with someone such as you pretending there is no problem and pretending Iím just making stuff up.

If you acknowledged this, i.e. that we have a serious debt problem, then you should also acknowledge that the last thing we needed was another massive entitlement program and all the other spending that Obama has been doing since getting in office, instead of saying, but Bush did this, Bush did that. This isnít about Bush v. Obama. I didnít like Bush. He spent too much. I couldnít stand him. Iím not here to defend the guy. Iím not even a republican.

If you think I liked Romney or am some die hard republican neo-con you couldnít be more wrong. Iím a realist. I donít live in polyannaville, like you and some do. As I saw it, my choices were between someone I didnít like and couldnít identify with, i.e. Romney, but who had experience tackling a budget deficit and someone who I find to be more likeable as a person, but who has shown no signs whatsoever that he will ever be serious about debt and is at the wheel driving us full speed towards a cliff, with no concern, i.e. Obama. I donít care if I like him as a person Ö I want someone who will do the right things for our country in the office. Social issues, it seemed to me, could have waited until we had stabilized our debt situation.

When you get home you should get on your knees, beg your sonsí forgiveness, and apologize to them for mortgaging their future. You and every person who voted for Oídummy and the dems will ultimately be responsible for the collapse of this country. Now that he got his tax increases, there will be no one to blame, but him (of course naÔve dem supporters will say, but he didnít get them on ALL THE folks making more than 250k, like he wanted Ö as if a few tens of billions more each year would save us from our fate).

This isn't about Bush v. Obama, as I said, but Obama added more debt in 4 years than Bush did in 8. How can you say that the person who added less debt than Obama is the one who bankrupted our nation.

I'm not at all staring off into space. You and I both voted for who we thought would be better for our country. We differ in opinion and that's fine with me.

I won't stoop to your level and make (personal) assaults on you like you have me and my sons who btw I never said who they voted for did I?

We all want smaller gov, a balanced budget with a surplus if possible. Jobs and a strong economy. A fierce military, and America to be the super power that it is.

I truly believe Obama has our best interest at heart. He is not just an ordinary President. He's our first black President and he knows he has something to prove. I don't believe his legacy, his moment in history will be that he bankrupted America and left us in an even greater recession than that we had when he took office.

You may not like him or see his vision but America did vote him back in and all we can do is hope that he can work with Congress and get something done not for the Dem or Rep party but for America.

I know thats what you want and what I want.

Only time will tell and it's to soon in his second term to see how this will play out. The wheels of gov. move slow.

Sub's just caught up in all the hate-speak so common in the GOP these days. It's human nature with some folks, that when they hear derisive talk about someone/something they go along with it because they don't want to be left out or (worse) be talked bad about by others. There isn't much life beyond high school for a lot of people. If, like back then, you hear some people talking bad about someone else, you might want to get in on that lest they turn on YOU. Typical of the easily led.

It was expected to go up a 1/2 % or so because of the seasonal jobs of the holidays...That has always been, nothing new.:)
