Earth's magnetic field protects us from cosmic radiation. Without it, we would all have one hell of a radioactive tan. But it's strength continues to decline at an accelerated rate. Sometimes this can often signal the beginning of a pole shift, which occurs cyclically throughout history. When the shift does happen, stay indoors.

That's what 'they' want you to believe. Take it with a grain of salt

Earth's magnetic field is fading. Today it is about 10 percent weaker than it was when German mathematician Carl Friedrich Gauss started keeping tabs on it in 1845, scientists say.

If the trend continues, the field may collapse altogether and then reverse. Compasses would point south instead of north

Without our planet's magnetic field, Earth would be subjected to more cosmic radiation. The increase could knock out power grids, scramble the communications systems on spacecraft, temporarily widen atmospheric ozone holes, and generate more aurora activity.

A number of Earth's creatures, including some birds, turtles, and bees, rely on Earth's magnetic field to navigate. The field is in constant flux, scientists say. But even without it, life on Earth will continue, researchers say.

We are going to need a magnet tax to study this in ad nauseam..hide those refrigerator magnets right now or you know what's coming !

Nothing they can do about this that I know of. Not a sure thing it's gonna happen anytime soon either

A slight reduction such as 10% would have huge ramifications. Could this be why we're experiencing wild weather, more volcanic and earthquake activity? No, i don't believe so. It's thoses mad scientists fooling around with our Biosphere / Atmosphere That is causing planetary changes.

If the magnetic field really is declining, then that will mean a higher and stronger radiation dose. As if cancer isn't already a mega profitable business.
