Ha-Ha!! I have two girls as a result of the pull-out method. Nothing works as well as a condom or other forms of birh control.

But neither condoms or 'pulling out' are as good if she swallows.

I always prefer rim shots, adds syncopation to the rest of the band - sounds like Greeks and their cola study...

Reminds me of that old joke:

What kind of people use the rhythm method.........Parents!

Same thing applies with pulling out.

Seriously, there are small amounts of semen ejaculated throughout intercourse, not just at climax. Basic A&P class, folks.

I'm afraid the critics are right here; this (specious?) information is only bound to be misunderstood and misused.

I believe that Rachel Jones has overlooked the potency issue with 'precum', as such, ANY funding/commission/salary, etc., etc., that she may be receiving should be IMMEDIATELY withdrawn and her arse set out on the curb!

Lol Do people still use that method for birth control?

We tried that once. We named him Michael.

Pre-ejaculatory secretions are just as potent as post ejaculatory...Here's hoping that this woman isn't a doctor or professor of any accountability because she's just lost all merit in the field.

Agreed. The seeds of fertility can be sent on their way long before the need to pullout is felt.

I would say the article is pretty true in regards to how well pull out works. I used it for 10 years and only had 2 kids... they said about 17% of people got pregnant within one year using pullout... based on my experience, that's in the correct ballpark.

Now, what I DO NOT agree with is that condoms don't work as often as they report. So to say pullout has a 17% failure rate in a years time, agree... to say that condoms are about the same, disagree.

Just don't go out and have sex immediately after the procedure. The seminal vesicles hold sperm for a certain length of time, even after a vasectomy, like maybe a week or two.

Funny you should mention that....

A friend of my mother's told us girls that a popular form of birth control in the 40s/50s was for a woman to shake up any carbonated beverage and squirt it up her....well, you get the picture.
