I don't know about you but I am so sick of bullies in general. There's bullies in the school systems, bullies at the workplace, bullies in the churches, bullies in cyberspace, bullies bullies bullies. I am so sick of hearing about teenage suicides due to bullying. These things should not be happening to our children or to anyone. Have you ever asked yourself why does it seem like bullies have the upperhand? It's because too many people let these bullies get away with murder. I'm not afraid of bullies. I believe you get back what you give to others. Karma is on my side. Who else out here is tired of bullies? There is strength is numbers. Let's take Offbeat back and make it fun again.

Well, they are used to such much drama in their own personal lives,(another word for slumming, boring, lazy, unproductive losers) it is the only thing they know. Dont worry about it. So, when can you go to Egypt?

You go, girl!!!! Brigitte is ironing her French maid's outfit right now. You might even wind up handing out a bit of diplomacy along the way. If you need back up, we've got Grace with her tea, and El can lend you lots of cat poop. Call me from the trenches.

I dont know what the ingredients are, but Grace and El are the best tea makers in their country. I have to give kudos for New York for having the best Chinese tea and food in the entire world. You can get lost in China Town. Mott Street? A slice of heaven.

My all time fave is chinese tea. Green tea runs a close second if they do it right. If I go out to eat and it is chinese, I have at least 3 pots of tea.(sometimes I prefer just the tea over the meal) I think it is Jasmine tea.

The only down side to tea is that I like it very dark and very sweet. I could use a whole box of splenda in one pot. In those little cups, I add five or six packets. I really feel guilty when I tell the wait staff to bring more Splenda, sometimes I carry my own. I can sympathize with heavy coffee drinkers since I never acquired a taste for that. I can spend hours in oriental shops and I always buy something. Dont know if you are aware that this is the Chinese New Year??????

We used to celebrate the Chinese New Year in school when I lived in San Diego. We had a big Asian population at out school.:) I despise coffee too. I wouldn't worry too much over SPlenda, it's calorie free isn't it??

I agree...lots of bullies everywhere GEM. When I was a little girl a bully @ school pulled me off the monkey bars causing me to fall on my stomach and knocked the wind out of me. It hurt SO bad but I refused to cry or tell on her. The next time she tried it I saw her coming so I "accidentally" kicked her in the chest as hard as I could...she fell to the ground and I "accidentally" fell on top of her socking her in the eye as I did so. After that we kinda had an agreement to stay away from each other. She remained a bully, sad to say. However, since I was raised w/four brothers they taught me how to handle bullies. I remember that incident to this day and my brothers remember it 2. I don't like or respect bullies and 4 the most part I stay my distance but every once in a while you have to stand up to one. That includes bullies on the internet, at work, or school...

Yes, Splenda is sugar free. My worry comes from using the restaurant's supply. When those wire bins are empty, and I send them back and forth for MORE and MORE, one of these days I expect to get a separate bill for a replacement box of the stuff. I am sure they get theirs a lot cheaper then I do.
