ESPN was showing highlights of the game shot from someone's iphone.

An epic defensive showdown.

Actually he did beat "Kolby's" record - with ease.

"Kolby" actually only scored 86 in a NBA game - 14 short of Wilt Chamberlain's record of 100.

I gotta see it, just reading about was impressive.
It's such a thrill when you're in the zone and the pressures on. God, it's great.

Oh, Newscaster got it wrong then. Carlos Diaz said it was one point off from Kolby's modern day NBA record scoring. Goes to show - can't believe everything you hear.

Yeah, there's a big differnece between pro records and collegiate records I guess.

Wilt still owns the NBA record, while Jack Taylor's record last night beat the old record of 116 set by Clarence "Bevo" Francis scored on January 9, 1953 for Rio Grande College against Ashland College.

Yesterday?

Yesterday was Tuesday - none of "my" teams played.

Last Saturday my Badgers lost a heartbreaker to Ohio State in overtime.

On Sunday, my Packers beat the Lions.

This is terrible, they should redistribute the scoring so every team member feels equally a part of the victory. This could mar their little minds for years.

What a selfish ball hog. Apparently he forgot that the uniform he's wearing shows that he's on a team.

"He took 79 percent of his teamís shots, which is by design. David Arseneault, the Pioneersí coach, espouses a bombs-away philosophy and eschews assists. Grinnell has led the nation in scoring for 17 of the past 19 seasons and has ranked first nationally in three-point shooting for the 15 of those years."

Espouse - verb (used with object) to make one's own; adopt or embrace, as a cause.

Eschew - verb (used with object) to abstain or keep away from; shun; avoid.
