Interesting. So what do the Brits think when one raises a middle finger ? Just wondering since it is certain that they know what it means here & other places.

Yes there are many such differences..

I'm from Ireland [next to GB]

where it would be common to hear

but it's spelled CRAIC &
it means, having a  laugh!

More accurately, the middle finger means F-you. And my history lessons have told me that the reverse 'peace sign' meant Victory. Has that changed or does it depend where one is?
