either you're out of minutes or you didn't pay your bill so they shut off your service.

My bill is paid, as always, and it still says for emergency calls only...this isn't a minutes phone.

Well, might I suggest you try turning off your phone and then turning it back on again and see if it says any different? Or try taking the battery out for a minute and then putting it back in & turning it on to see if it resets itself?

Try a hard reset.....take the battery out, wait about 5 min and put it back in. I don't know why but it seems to fix many problems at my house!

I'll do that right now....I can't take the battery out, I can't take the case off...it's a hard case.

Take ur battery n sim card(if u have one)out and wait a min or two. It will reboot when u turn it back on. It should fix the problem. It showing emergency calls only means ur not getting a signal.
If u have an iPhone just leave it off a few minutes. N turn back on.
Hope this helps :)

You're welcome. More often than not that "unplug & plug back in" or "turn off & back on" trick seems to "fix" most electronic gadgets.
