Today....Corresponding with people on a medical website about a similar problem.
Using word association in song lyrics for memory games/tests.
using repetition to strengthen long term memory, taking the unknown or least used words in lyrics,poetry & using Free dictionary to -re-define them & re-reading them then progressing,

Reminds me of the movie with Jack Nicholson, One Flew Over the Koo Koo's nest movie, I never watch it when it comes on, because he ends up getting a lobotomy, very sad.
