CC...I have been a cat lover all of my life...but it comes down to being a responsible pet owner...it's safer for the cats...and it's better for the neighbors...where is the problem???

A- depends where you live. If you live out in the country and have a barn, cats are kept outdoors for mousing. We always had a bunch growing up. Kept a few breeding females to replace the ones the coyotes got. Got the rest fixed. They were fed well and dewormer regularly and seemed genuinely happy. My wife grew up in a rural area and they had outdoor cats too for the same reason.

B-depends on your neighbors. We live in a subdivision and the neighbor 2 houses down has a couple of indoor/outdoor cars. For the life if me, I dunno why them being outside would bother anyone. Maybe an anal retentive person with OCD, but not a normal person.

C-can you talk to your cats? How do you know whether a cat prefers to live like a animal indoors or have the freedom to roam? How would you like it if you could never leave your house? Would you not face less risk if you never did? Is that worth the trade off?

Not saying its wrong ... I've had indoor cats too, but its not the only way and you come as very condescending when you say it's the only responsible way as if you know it all.

Agree with that, pesky little germ spreaders.

Had a friend at school who had a baby, she and the baby got meningitis, the baby died. Don't really hang out with her now but do run into her in town quite often over the last seven/eight years. She says her health has never been the same since, obviously there's the grief, but physically she says she's just not really well. I'll tell her that it took you ten years to recover, may be she'll find that hopeful.

Sorry to hear that. Listen, tell her she has to work hard. To push her limits. I really hope she doesn't suffer the headaches I had for ten years. My back and brain took a beating. But I worked out, did any and everything I could to build up strength. I was 35 when I got it. I will admit, it did change my life, and I realize I will never be the same. But building up the body and keeping the mind busy will help wonders for your friend. I have nothing to offer in the way of losing a child...Feel real bad about that.

Have a good day, babe.

Wow, even if we are a world apart, I had the same thing. Had to get out of bed at five something to tell the neighbor's dogs to hush up. Have no idea how long they were barking..but it was long enough to have me get up.
Come on now...the neighbor can not hear their own dogs barking like that in the middle of the night? Or early morn?
Really messes up someone's morning waking up half asleep.

When my associates mispronounce our other associates or clients names repeatedly. It should not bother me but it does. It's like they do it on purpose. An example is an associate named Denel (pronounced Den-ell) they always call her Danielle, always. I just want to scream DEN-ELL it's DEN-ELL. She says it's Denel calling for bla bla, I'll say Denel is on the line for ya and they will answer "hey, Danielle!" Grrr.
