What is your earliest childhood memory and what age do you think your were?

Mine is at about the age of two years old, walking out of the door of our house and seeing a large thistle growing in our yard.
How about you?

And if you tell me it was the doctor spanking you right after you were born I will be a little skeptical..

Sitting at moms vanity playing in her makeup with her. I think I was 2 1/2 or 3. She a tiny magic red box with a sliding lid. Inside was a pallet of black and a little brush. She would wet the cake, stir with the brush and make eyelashes appear. :)

I can't remember a thing before I was five years old. Then I remember I got to play pretend with real babies. We used cloth diapers and poor baby, I poked them once or twice before I learned to put hand against body so pin wouldn't hurt and make cry.

swimming in a pool and falling a sleep in the water .... I almost drowned when my dad pulled me out of the little inflatable boat. that had a running water hose in it ... the little boat would have sank and I would have gone under.

Would you believe... peering out of my mom's uterus and watching my dad have sex with her while she was pregnant with me? LOL, but seriously earliest memory I can conjure is holding my mom's finger while we walked along the beach, I remember looking down at my toes and feeling the cold Pacific Ocean and the feeling of the sand. I must've been like 4yo or so. Very happy memory!

Not sure of my age, but I have a vague memory of being at my great grandmothers house in Massachusetts. It was late, past bed time, for some reason she had brought me in the kitchen and set me on the counter. But here's the thing I remember, she had a fluorescent light under her cabinet and when she turned it on I remember how it lit up that one part of the kitchen and caught all my attention and I remember her standing there, she had white hair and she looked as if she was doing something so important.
I'm not sure why it has stuck with me but it has and because of this I also have a fluorescent light under my cabinet now, mainly because of this memory, and I often think about that moment when I turn it on.
Cue the twilight music....

Most of my memories start at five years old as well.

I had a dream one night that my dog bootsy died and was laying next to the mail box. I was so happy when he was just as crazy and playful as all other days. Then the next day ... my dream (nightmare) came true exactly. Wow!

I to this day have similar dreams and they are upsetting to me. I hate to have a bad dream and then wonder.

I remember sneaking out of the womb and robbing banks. I had no finger prints yet and my sonogram picture showed no facial features so, how could I get caught?
