MEANS JUST THAT! I, Kat, think you should go first and "try to come up with some new and possible relevant material!!! Not that YOU physically GO anywhere or abandon your precious THREAD...you idiot!
GOT IT, RH?
GOD I HOPE SO!
I don't know why you have a burr under your saddle, I have never
(to my knowledge) ever interacted with you on any thread. Then you come on a thread that I created to thank the men and women who have or are serving with honor in the armed services of the free world and for no reason that I can discern, tell me I should leave MY thread. At first I thought you were siding with my personal stalker troll and unabashed anti American military and anti American people. Then I realized you were just being angry and combative to both of us. Well, if you decide to stay, I hope you spend your time in a productive manner, thanking the men and women who have or are serving with honor in the armed services of the free world.

Because you are spouting off a load of rubbish which gorifies war and death and attributing it to nationalistic good deed.

If you can justify invading other countries on lies and personal gain, murdering millions of innocent men, women and children & calling the invaders "heroic" - then others have the right to invade this thread and bash you for the pig that you are.

America's Evil Wars
By: G.G. Stoctay, PhD
George W. Bush's slaughter of Iraqis is by no means America's first criminal war. It isn't even close to being the worst.
America is a savage nation with a long history of criminal acts. Below are listed the 15 most criminal American wars. The whole list is much longer. Sadly, American governments, especially the Republican regimes, like killing and oppression. The American motivation for violence has generally been money. Americans will kill anybody for money.

As a result, America has seldom been at peace. If it's not massacring Cherokees in Georgia to steal their gold, it's massacring Spaniards to steal their plantations or Iraqis to steal their oil or just for the fun of it.

By far America's most criminal war was the Civil War. The mythology is that the Civil War was about slavery. It wasn't. It was an economic war of domination. The industrial North caused the destruction of half a million American lives in order to insure that it retained economic dominance over both the agricultural South and over poor white wage slaves.

American students are habitually deceived with political propaganda and historical myth in place of education. Most American adults are simply ignorant. They neither know nor care about real history and they have no idea of how many wars America has fought or for what reasons.

Republican warmongers rely on that ignorance. How else would they manipulate the masses to die in order to make the rich richer? Below I've listed the 15 most criminal American wars. I've included the approximate dates and I've graded how evil each war was. My evaluation is based on how much harm was done by the war, what can be said as a justification for the war, the war's cost in lives and money and any real benefits which flowed to the American people from the war.

Of course, my principal consideration is one of ethics, morality. To Republican bigots "morality" means sexual pleasure, or really assuring that someone else doesn't have any. My use of the term is very different. It is simply wrong to kill, wrong to exploit, wrong to oppress; in short, it's wrong to be Republican.

Vietnam War
a kind of national madness marking the beginning of the end of America as a great nation. Steal Vietnam Oil

Korean War a war of global economic domination to insure that Republican socialism prospered over Communist socialism.

Iraq War a war to colonize oil-rich Moslem nations so the Christians could grab their oil and destroy their antiquities.

Indian Wars (Eastern) including the Black Hawk War, the Seminol Tragedy, the Cherokee gold grab, etc.; wars to steal the land, assets and economic power of the Native Americans/Indians.

World War I
a war against Central European industrial and economic power to assure the financial supremacy of England and America.

Labor Wars
a long war against American workers waged by business and government to keep the workers poor, helpless and in serfdom - the archetype Republican oppression. This is how the Pennsylvania State Police started, as a troop to oppress mine laborers.

Civil Rights Wars
a long war against the rights and political and economic power of Afro-Americans.

Filipino War a war to suppress the freedom of Philippine nations who threatened American wealth in its colony. Mass killing over 100,000s of Civilians

Spanish American War
a war to snatch valuable and wealth possessions from Spain. It was provoked by the megalomaniac, William Randolph Hearst.

Mexican War II
1913-1919; a nasty little war to destroy the Mexican folk hero Pancho Villa and his Division of the North which threatened the wealth of big American cattle barons.

Grenada War a war by the insane Ronald W. Reagan to colonize a tiny Caribbean island for drug smuggling.

Persian Gulf War a war to assure supplies for big oil corporations in order to keep prices high.

Mexican War I
1846-1848; a war to steal Texas and its assets from Mexico.

This just top of Iceberg of evil US wars on the world and at home

THE SILENT PATRIOT
American born under the red white and blue
he was no one special from his point of view
He grew up in a small town just an average Joe
But when his country called he was willing to go
He joined the Marines, The Few and the Proud
His actions and words didn’t speak very loud
Then he went to war near the DMZ
Fought for his life and the land of the free
He fought in the jungle; he fought in the streams
He fought on the hillsides; he fought through the screams
He saw life taken, took some of his own
had some taken from him, he never whimpered or groaned
He returned to his home town; no parade or fanfare
His friends turned their backs said you shouldn’t have went there
He endured the ridicule from a nation without care
He sealed his own soul with the thousand yard stare
He has seen more in one lifetime than a man ought to see
What he doesn’t see walking, he sees in his dreams
He lived his own life but he lived back in time
His heart was so broken that he took his own life
There is no memorial for this victim of war
He died in the background behind a closed door
He lived his own hell in a country that forgot
An unseen casualty,
The Silent Patriot

THIS about dumb soldiers

Agony

I lost my arm, a leg; the head
Of once my brother fell to me.
I caught it with a scream caressed with
Bowels, anointed with our blood –
Arterial – of crimson zest –
Ethereal in oxygenation.

My mother whined a haunting dirge
Of ‘Why?’ and ‘Will this never end?’
I answered with my bluing lips
And gurgles of antiphony.

Dying in our agony,
We make a sorry nation.

What war is all about.

War is evil
War is the devil
War is between politicians
War is about religions
War is destruction
War is not construction
War is depression
War is an obsession
War is fighting
War is killing
War is sorrow
War is no tomorrow
War is explosions
War is confusions
War is blood
War brings tears like a flood
War makes you cry
War makes you die
War is death all around
War makes you die on foreign ground
War is fire
War is not to admire!
War is creed
War is between different breed
War is cruel
War cost a lot of fuel
War is amputations
War is mutilations
War last forever
I wonder if it ends in Heaven
War is only release
For those who are killed
It means 'PEACE'

The Dumb Soldier
by Robert Louis Stevenson

When the grass was closely mown,
Walking on the lawn alone,
In the turf a hole I found,
And hid a soldier underground.

Spring and daisies came apace;
Grasses hide my hiding place;
Grasses run like a green sea
O'er the lawn up to my knee.

Under grass alone he lies,
Looking up with leaden eyes,
Scarlet coat and pointed gun,
To the stars and to the sun.

When the grass is ripe like grain,
When the scythe is stoned again,
When the lawn is shaven clear,
Then my hole shall reappear.

I shall find him, never fear,
I shall find my grenadier;
But for all that's gone and come,
I shall find my soldier dumb.

He has lived, a little thing,
In the grassy woods of spring;
Done, if he could tell me true,
Just as I should like to do.

He has seen the starry hours
And the springing of the flowers;
And the fairy things that pass
In the forests of the grass.

In the silence he has heard
Talking bee and ladybird,
And the butterfly has flown
O'er him as he lay alone.

Not a word will he disclose,
Not a word of all he knows.
I must lay him on the shelf,
And make up the tale myself.

WAR MEANS

War Means death
War Means destruction
War Means fire
War Means bombing
War Means sorrow
War Means turmoil
War Means tears
War Means guns
War Means blood
War Means confusion
War Means explosions
War Means mutilation
War Means sickness
War Means killing
War Means occupation
War Means loss
And lots more

But after one side
Or the other side
Has finally had enough
And lays down their arms
To surrender and give up

War is...

War is fighting brothers,
War is bombs exploding,
War is crying mothers,
War is bodies floating.

War is following orders,
War is young dated,
War is falling mortars,
War is time wasted.

War is mixed blood,
War is true sadness,
War is wet mud,
War is ultimate madness.

War is innocent deaths,
War is many tears,
War is unwelcomed guests
And they all last for years.

UNTITLED, UNFINISHED, UNDONE
The dust is unsettled in the corridors of my mind
I thought I had swept it clean for the very last time
Don’t mean nuthin’ was my motto from the past
And the whole world could kiss my Devil-dog ass
Thoughts of Vietnam were s’posed to be buried deep
God knows the friendships were never mine to keep
Every day we existed was as the roll of the ivory dice
More often than not that bitch lady luck did not suffice
Lost youths wandering around in the jungle green
Faces long time forgotten now once again seen
Though their names have slipped silently away
Their souls remain visible and are with me to this day
Do I have any regrets you might solemnly ask?
If I had a wish to make and grant within my grasp
I would to God, The Few would have never died
And we could once more stand muster side by side
Dreams are free yet somewhat frightening at times
And the simple truth is that not all reason and realities rhyme
We had the privilege to live and walk together once, you see
And their memories as twilight shadows shall always be
Within me

One-On-One Skirmish in War

Lend me a crushed ear,
A juicy smear of dermis, and
I shall blast ye of your world
Upon a barrel furnace
Flaring orange of an instant!

Now first, please rip apart my being:
Sunder me, O! plunder please the
Writhing flesh upon my bones and
Leave it naught of
Living life - kill to
Bleeding cinders, embers of an ex.

Recuperation? Never! no!
Otherwise to suffer minds -
Bowels and all to wither
Aren't on offer -

Only desperate tears to flee! Now
Let me in and I'll remove
Your rhythmic timer - the
Pumping tinderbox to feed
A vox humana pleading for its life;
The reaper's chimer

Sees you burn,
Hears you spurn your soul -
Your screaming head - top flesh;
Dead mesh - mesh of death! No
Breath from breast! No
Beat or heat from rising ribs -
How neat, the meat in
Death together!

Daily Horoscope for May 21

Capricorn

If you're feeling lonely and vulnerable, it seems as though someone is out to get you. Perhaps you're separated from the people you love and you don't like it. Try not to mope for too long, because there are important things that need your attention. Speaking of which, if you need to do something that you're dreading, you'll feel much better if you can get it out of the way quickly. If you leave it, the very thought of it will drain your energy.
