I do ...
I was five years old and the boys were picking on my older brother and IT made HIM cry.
I assure you ... they cried before I was done with them.
Had to stay in for recess... I was FIVE.

Don't hurt someone I LOVE.

Fight or Flight

When I was younger I would take the flight to avoid the fight.

Then one day ... I was sick of the cheaters and liars winning and that is when I decided to always
Fight before I made or MAKE the Flight.

Chris, I'm still waiting to hear from you. Call me, please and we can end this little fight (slight disagreement) that I'm sharing with the world at OB OZ.

LB, the beautiful thing about having TOPIX remove some of our comments is so later when someone wants the proof we can get away with Lying through out teeth about it. That's right ...

LIE LIE AND DENY,,, seems a fight worthy of TOPIX, wouldn't you agree?

lol some funny stories.

I am not sure the 1st???? But then again I have MANY stitches, concussions & have a seizure disorder for all the dents from scrapping or getting hit with various weapons of mass (brain cell) destruction.
I was picked on or "bullied" a lot as a kid so the 1st were prob. with my older brother & sister.
A kid sucker punched me in 4th grd. & gave me a black eye I recall that.
In between 7th & 8th grd. a friend & I decided we were never going to pushed around again lol we matched each other daily for push ups or sit ups,by the end of summer we were both doing 200 or so push ups or sit ups at a time. lol
He was the shortest kid in school & I have always been a tall, opie look a like.
They are right all that bullying can change you in several ways, either make you submissive OR a bully yourself OR someone that ALWAYS get even !lol
I chose the latter, can't really change the past & have no real regrets, but part of me was definatly formed from my environment. I have been intimidated by very few people in my life. Rick Wichita Ks.

Yeah I know huh! Actually closer to 250!
I wasn't even 14 yet! And my summer job was clearing Ski trail with basic tools. In the fall I went to the largest Ranch in western Co. for hay harvest & fall roundup! And my full time, after school job was always in my Dads metal shop, grinding, moving iron,lg. valves or sand blasting! Or you can always rely on just shoveling snow for exercise or Ski camp or Boy scouts or Back packing lol.
Navy Bootcamp at 17 was a nice break actually! I don't run, but maybe because it was at sea level & not 8500 ft ,it was easy. I was never a jock lol more an aspiring Hippie,BUT most of the trades I have worked or ,on topic fights I have been in, being in great shape were the reasons you won or lost or were fired, after being cussed out when you got your check. I ended all of them, except one that was broken up by teachers before anything much got doing and the ones with my older brothers, who beat the snot out of me on a regular basis (our friends used to say "you don't want to fight them boys ... you want to watch them fight each other, lol"), which hardens you.

It is pretty funny to have guys talking shyte when you are trying to take the high road and talk them out of a fight only for them to insist and then either be out cold or begging for their life, about a minute after they take a swing at you.

The typical exchange went like this:

Me: Dude, I don't really want to fight ... I'm just going to kick your a$s anyway ... I know jujitsu and I wrestled for many years. Why don't you just chill and have a good time ... we don't have to do this?

Belligerent guy: You don't want to fight cause you are a pu$say and are going to get your a$s kicked. <peanut gallery ... yeah you are a pu$sy)

Me: Well that's not really true ... I mean maybe you are like super duper bad a4s and will kick my a$s, but this is not very likely ...

Belligerent guy: Whatever pu$say! <pushes me or swings at me>

Me: Alright, that's it...

It never ended well for those guys... <ka-pow>

As I see it, the problem with fighting is that you can kill or seriously injure someone and go to jail or incur civil liability ... My brother almost had SERIOUS charges filed against him for a similar situation as played out in my example above. Drunk guy who just kept pushing for a fight ... and my brother kept trying to take the high road, until he had enough and put the beat down on the guy. It was over in a minute and the guy was in a coma and had brain swelling. They were not sure at first if he would ever recover. He eventually recovered, thank FSM.

I'll admit Mike Tyson made this list, but I'm not to sure I would consider him a legend.
As I was scrolling this list, I just knew you were going to say you didn't see no Cassius Clay in that list. ;)

As for Tyson, he lost to James "Buster" Douglas.
That kinda eliminates and legend status. I seriously doubt the he'd have beaten Frasier, Clay or Foreman, prime for prime.
