Piers needs to shut the hell up. Britain - where the criminals have more guns than the police. Oh, I forgot. They don't have criminals because guns produce crime and murder. Without guns there is no murder. The last couple of years the 12% of the murders commited in England were with a GUN!!37% of the murders were with knives, which we all know that getting stabbed and bleeding out is more humane that getting shot in the head or chest.

Wrong. It's easy to deduce the largest quantity of people bothered to sign the petition (for one thing, you must sign in to do so). Many other petitions have only a very small quantity of signatures.

You were born stupid like many other communists.

Obama and his family cos the US tax payer $3m for their Hawaiian christmas.

Obama has to say he will uphold the constitution except for the second amendment at his inauguration.

In reality he should be impeached for not upholding the constitution

Come on man, this is the same old NRA rhetoric.
The NRA is nothing but a glorified "snake oil salesman." They offer impossible solutions (aka: arming teachers, armed police in schools, etc.) hoping that by the time the general public actually researches the improbabilities of said plans, all this "massacre" stuff will blow over and forgotten.
In the program I mentioned, they take hidden camera's to border town gun shows. They buy the assault weapons with no background checks and then get approached in the parking lots by Mexican nationals offering to buy the weapons - cash money. The proof is in the video tape.
I could care less what the bias or neutral sources say - the bottom line is that the 2nd Ammendment wasn't written to protect the rights of child killers.
Your child killer remark is both ignorant and uninformed. Who here has defended the rights of anyone to kill children? Has the NRA defended the rights to kill children?

You were invited to review the data completely. Instead you choose to add child killing.

Again, how many firearms sold at gun shows taken to Mexico or subsequently used in crimes? How many?

And many others have lots of signatures - your point?(other than the one on top of your head, naturally)

As I've said all along - the White House is not responsible for the content of any petition - if they were that would be akin to blaming the skid marks in your underwear on your mother - which I'm sure happens all the time, right?

Putting an exact figure to that statistic would be a guess since most gun shows in the US in and around border towns do not require background checks when selling firearms. Of the guns that can be traced (re: sold legitimately in the US) back to the US, 90% have found their way to the drug cartels. Figures vary - some as high as 94,000 in less than 5 years - but again, it's a guess.

I would guess that no one on the internet - including you - would ever be in a position to defend the NRA. This is the internet pal - any freshman in high school can pull up data and information just as well or better than yourself. The NRA already has blood on their hands from Columbine - it's nothing they haven't danced around before.

I much better question would be, what has the NRA done to defend the lives of children, other than to suggest we spend lots of money and arm teachers?

A guess based on what? You state legitimately sold, would that be a dealer sale?

There’s no way 94,000 guns sold at shows by private sellers would have ended up in Mexico over 5 years. You need to understand if you’re in the business of selling arms you must obtain an FFL and then background checks are required.

How exactly is the Columbine shooting the fault of the NRA?

Why would the NRA expand the scope of their mission? To meet your expectations?

I gave you the information on a Vanguard special. The video tapes speak for themselves. I was on board with your thinking until I saw the the videos - unfortunately the Vanguard video isn't available on the internet.

More murders are committed every year with clubs and hammers than with guns. Why isn't anyone going for more hammer and club control?

Because then we'd have to ban baseball - and we all know that arming teachers with baseball bats is just plain crazy.

Obama's official White House website is hosting the petition to deport Piers Morgan. They are playing off populist hate politics to silence a political opponent.

No, the video tapes do not speak for themselves. No indication the NRA is at fault for anything.

Your first link implicates our government.

The second is a Brady Campaign illustration of a private sale.

The third show the police and BATF shutting down a gun show because non-dealers were selling to inappropriate people.

The fourth again is about private sellers.

The fifth again is more about a private sellers at a gun show.

Once again, where is your evidence the NRA is responsible for Columbine?
