YES! On the same note ,don't EVER disengage the AUTOMATIC KILL SWITCH on your chainsaw, especially if above the ground.
I was smart :) & "SAFE" disconnected kill switch so I could operate C.S. one handed.
Tied a ladder 20 ft. to the tree, used a riggers harness to attach my self to the tree, tethered
Chainsaw to ladder to prevent dropping it!
I was VERY TIRED and climbed the ladder, taking 21 STEPS ON A 20 RUNG LADDER :(
went over the top,with A RUNNING CHAINSAW !!!! hanging from a tree,with a ladder& A RUNNING CHAINSAW :):)
I was not cut but burned several times, Hung UPSIDE DOWN ,in my front yard for about 20 mins ,until my neighbor came home & used HIS ladder to help me down:)
LESSON ------DO NOT OPERATE POWER TOOLS WHEN EXHAUSTED & without a second person to call candid camera :) Rick

Good stuff Rick ....... most of the chomped legs, mangled fingers and hands ...... not to mention head injuries are caused by sheer exhaustion!!! Good tips for a dangerous game ....... another is ALWAYS wear steel-tipped boots !....Tiredness once again has caused me to have a coupla work boots hanging on the wall to remind me why this should be. Still get a small shiver when I look at them and realise what the damage could have been !

Could you provide a better tip there?

Last time I went fishing on a whaling vessel and caught one, I couldn't fit it into the microwave.

Hell, getting the whale in the home took major demolition/construction work.

And then there were the complaints by the neighbors with the smell.

Then the township council passed a law that no cetacean over 30 feet long was allowed in city limits.

But do you want to know the the worst part?

Giant squids kept sneaking in after dark trying to eat my prize catch.

I tried to hire some Calamari chefs as security guards, but the squids ate them too.

That was so insane it made me laugh.:)

At least with a nuke the pieces will be smaller, precooked, and have a half life of a few million years so it will keep a lifetime. Another plus is the thieving giant squids will glow in the dark making it easier to exterminate them as well.

Wouldn't it be better to wear reading glasses so you could see which were the poisonous ones ?
