At a time when Christians are killed and churches are burned in Egypt,*would that be the Muslim Brotherhood maybe*, while Christians are either killed or systematically driven out of the country in Syria,* by all kinds of Muslims*, and in Turkey Christian identity cards have a special code that prohibits Christians from taking certain jobs or getting certain benefits,*now who'd do that*, President Obama has decided to begin a push for homosexual rights in Russia.

It makes you wonder what persecuted Christians in the Middle East are going to have to do to get his attention. Maybe they should stop ringing bells and start using a muezzin to call worshipers to church, since Obama considers that “one of the prettiest sounds on earth at sunset.”
Simply dying, burning, and suffering discrimination doesn’t appear to be enough.
As far as I know, no one has set fire to a "pride parade" or beheaded a homosexual on the Internet. Yet when a fairly repressive Russian regime bans a form of speech, the president suddenly gets energized enough to directly confront Vladimir Putin. Maybe Putin crossed a "lavender line" of which the U.S. public was unaware.
“With tensions between the United States and Russia already strained to the breaking point, President Barack Obama is preparing to press Russian President Vladimir Putin even more by meeting with Russian gay rights groups and human rights activists during this week's trip to St. Petersburg for the G-20 summit,” Newsmax reported.
Specifically he’s going to sit down with Coming Out — an LGBT rights group — and activists Lev Ponomarev and Lyudmila Alexeyeva to discuss a new Russian law that bans the promotion or display of “untraditional sexual relations.”
So much for the "Russian Reset."
During one of his many late night TV appearances, this time on NBC’s “The Tonight Show,” Jay Leno asked Obama about the new Russian law during their interview. The president gave one of his sterner looks — somewhere on the scale between the "obstructionist Republican Congress" look and the "Iran will not be allowed to have nuclear weapons" look — and replied that he has "no patience for countries that try to treat gays or lesbians or transgender persons in ways that intimidate them or are harmful to them."
It would be helpful if President Obama were equally as impatient with countries that kill Christians.
