The following is a "BIG BUNCH" of" BULL!!!
U.S. policy toward Honduras is aimed at consolidating democracy, protecting human rights, and promoting the rule of law. U.S. Government programs are aimed at promoting a healthy and more open economy capable of sustainable growth, improving the climate for business and investment while protecting U.S. citizen and corporate rights, and promoting the well-being of the Honduran people. The United States also works with Honduras to meet transnational challenges—including the fight against terrorism, narcotics trafficking, money laundering, illegal migration, and trafficking in persons—and encourages and supports Honduran efforts to protect the environment. The goals of strengthening democracy and promoting viable economic growth are especially important given the geographical proximity of Honduras to the United States. An estimated 450,000 Hondurans reside in the United States, 100,000 of whom are believed to be undocumented; consequently, immigration issues are an important item on the bilateral agenda.

U.S.-Honduran ties are further strengthened by numerous private sector contacts, with an average of between 80,000 and 110,000 U.S. citizens visiting Honduras annually and about 15,000 Americans residing there. More than 150 American companies operate in Honduras.

The USAID budget for Honduras is $37 million for fiscal year 2007.
the United States provided more than $461 million in immediate disaster relief and humanitarian aid spread over the years 1998-2001.

U.S. Millennium Challenge Corporation will invest $215 million over five years to help Honduras improve its road infrastructure, diversify its agriculture, and get its products to market.

*=* NOW THE TRUTH *=*
As we can see, "Honduras is Open for Business" forms part of the long-term imperialist plan to control Honduran resources,|||*led in large part by the economic and political interests of the U.S.*||| This plan consists of the auctioning off not just of the natural resource of Hondurans but also of Honduran workers. The plan consists of handing control of the country over to corporations, foreign investors and Honduran elites.

This plan is being carried forth thanks to the manipulation of laws and the Honduran constitution, which began in earnest following the approval of the free trade agreement CAFTA-DR. The only role of the Honduran people is to serve as cheap labor, which has been guaranteed following the approval of the Hourly Wage Law in November 2010. This legislation robs Hondurans of many of their labor rights for which they have fought over the past century, leaving them without protection from labor abuses.

The CAFTA-DR, the coup d'état, the legal maneuvering and this conference have allowed the free entry of Corporate-Imperialists so that they can exploit natural resources, privatize infrastructure and enslave the workers in new plantations, maquilas and free trade zones.

The puppets, Porfirio Lobo Sosa and his golpista cabinet, are very obedient in implementing the demands of the U.S. government.

In the twentieth century, the United States has had more influence on Honduras than any other nation

In the 1980s United States attention became fixated on Honduras as a linchpin for United States policy toward Central America. In the early 1980s, southern Honduras became a staging area for Contra excursions into Nicaragua. The conservative Honduran government and military shared United States concerns over the Sandinistas' military buildup, and both the United States and Honduran governments viewed United States assistance as important in deterring Nicaragua, in both the buildup of the Honduran armed forces and the introduction of a United States military presence in Honduras.

During the 1980s, the United States provided Honduras with a substantial amount of foreign assistance. Total United States assistance to Honduras in the 1980s amounted to almost $1.6 billion

By the end of the decade critics were questioning how so much money could have produced so little. The country was still one of the poorest in the hemisphere, with an estimated per capita income of $590 in 1991

By the early 1990s, with the end to the Contra war and a peace accord in El Salvador, United States policy toward Honduras had changed. Annual foreign aid levels had begun to fall considerably. The United States provided about $213 million in 1990, the amount declined to about $60 million for 1993.

Guatemala, Honduras, and El Salvador are all facing chronic citizen and economic insecurity crises. Rampant corruption and weak state institutions have made it virtually impossible to combat threats posed by violent transnational gangs and organized criminal groups. Coupled with the issue of endemic corruption, the regional debt crises and weak state institutions plague the region. Honduras has the world’s highest homicide rates, averaging 91 per 100,000 citizens. the U.S. average is five per 100,000

A number of US senators have questioned Obama administration’s foreign aid to Honduras

In a letter to US Secretary of State John Kerry, 21 US senators cited “numerous recent killings and threats targeting [labor] union leaders, opposition figures, farmers, students, journalist and others,” emphasizing that officials of the US-backed government have been implicated in such criminal acts.

The development comes nearly four years after a US-sponsored military coup in Honduras

According to the report, the United States suspended a portion of its aid to Honduras after the country’s top police commander was linked to numerous killings.

“All but about $10 million was resumed, but the Honduran government is supposed to meet a set of criteria that includes ensuring free speech, due process and the prosecution of authorities who commit human rights crimes,”

When you consider the 'history' of the world as recorded no country or nation has survived under the power of the people, only by Kings, Dictators, Queens, and Obama.

America frequently claims to be but this is because they define democracy so narrowly and in their own image such that on their criteria they're the worlds only democracy and on any other criteria they still aren't and never have been.

In today's political environment there is no effective leadership in the world. Every nation lacks strong and competent leaders able to deal with the problems at home and abroad. The United States, which has been the world leader for the last 50 years, has steadily lost its influence among other nations because of political leaders in the United States who have no moral center to direct their decision making process. However, this distrust and dislike of government and government leaders is not just an American phenomenon but is a common theme in Europe, South America, Asia and the entire world. Because of this leadership vacuum in the world, there is now an opportunity for a man to arise who is very charismatic, strong, and attractive to peoples of all nations. Based on the prophecies in the Bible such a man will arise, and he will be successful in uniting the various nations to rule as a dictator.

The move to unite the world under one government has been active since the early 1950's, and in recent years this has become more of a reality as many nations have given up their sovereignty to the United Nations during armed intervention of conflicts (eg. Kuwait, Somalia, Bosnia). In these conflicts, the nations of the world contributed manpower and machinery to be used under the flag of the United Nations. The United States of America surrendered its sovereignty in these situations to much weaker nations by allowing its military to be controlled by these nations. In addition to these military actions the nations of the world also agreed to control trade and labor practices with international treaties such as NAFTA and GATT.

There is no dominant nation to provide leadership to the world, thus the stage is set for a man to arise out of the masses to unite the world as dictator.

What a Rush !

'And the meek shall inherit the earth.
...
Weve taken care of everything
The words you hear the songs you sing
The pictures that give pleasure to your eyes
Its one for all and all for one
We work together common sons
Never need to wonder how or why

We are the priests of the temples of syrinx
Our great computers fill the hallowed halls
We are the priests of the temples of syrinx
All the gifts of life are held within our walls

Look around this world we made
Equality our stock in trade
Come and join the brotherhood of man
Oh what a nice contented world
Let the banners be unfurled
Hold the red star proudly high in hand

We are the priests of the temples of syrinx
Our great computers fill the hallowed halls.
We are the priests of the temples of syrinx
All the gifts of life are held within our walls.'
