<quoted text>Insightful answer, you hit on my main concern. I know, it's very selfish, but over the years, my biggest argument against gay marriage was that it would take away from my marriage- that I have worked hard at for decades. You are right, it will not threaten or cheapen my marriage. My other argument was always the 'slippery slope' argument, what next, multiple partners, animals, inanimate objects? lol I could marry 5 women and get health insurance for all of them through work, and take 5 deductions at tax time.
By 'complicated', I meant that someone could be born into a man's body and be a woman that likes other women- would that be a homosexual? Complicated like that, it's not just a man that likes men or a woman that likes females.

I am bit lost on the lower parts. Seems they are both functioning as females at the moment. Confusing.

But they are happy. And it worked for them. I could walk by them and know them not. But others will.

In my line of life, I've met and seen all kinds of humans. This is not new, just more out in the open.
They both switched sexes but are both females below or are they a boy and girl ? I'm confused are they now gay is one of them gay or are they bi; is one bi?
Will the guy have to carry the baby for 9 months?

Different cultures and societies sure have different things they accept.
I stayed in American Samoa the summer of '72 (was 18), and learned a little about Fa'afafine. There was one next door that I met. What a nice family. As I remember, I was told that if a family had a lot of boys, when the mother was about to have another child, they would say, "this one is going to be a girl", and no matter what, it was raised as a girl. This Wikipedia doesn't mention that, I might be wrong. These people born with male anatomy say they enjoyed being raised as girls- it was accepted by society, and sounds like it still is to some degree.

It's not natural to have a sex change.......

Think about it.......

The girl wants to be a boy right... Now she is and now she is attracted to.......WHAT? A girl!

The boy wants to be a girl right......Now he is and is now attracted to........WHAT? A boy!!!

They even with the drugs and the surgeries are still who they were born as.....girl/boy

It doesn't?
Just ask the Christian couple who owned the bed and breakfast and were sued(and put the the wringer by the left-wing media) by two lesbians simply because they politely declined to let them stay there because it was a FAMILY bed and breakfast. The lesbian couple could have gone up the road to another bed and breakfast, but they decided they had to make an example out of a PRIVATELY OWNED business.
Just ask the couple who were sued(and put the the wringer by the left-wing media) by a homosexual "couple" who wanted their "wedding" pictures taken by their PRIVATELY OWNED photo business and they declined because it went against their beliefs. The homosexuals could have gone to ANY wedding photo shop, but they had to "make an example" of them.
Those are just two examples of ONE of the reasons why homosexual "marriage" threatens traditional marriage. Because if traditional couples don't overwhelmingly believe in and glorify the homosexuals faux relationships, they will use everything in the pc arsenal to make them pay. Because they are soooo openminded, you see. Just so long as everyone believes as they do.
Also because marriage as a whole will be diminished. And it is already happening. Less people are being married than ever before.(that includes homosexual "marriage", because homosexuals don't really want "marriage" in the first place, they just want everyone to accept and praise their unnatural lifestyle. The more people they can get to accept that it is natural and normal, the more they can trick themselves into believing it is natural and normal)
And yes, there is a "slippery slope", which is turning into an avalanche. Already there are polygamists fighting for their "right" to marry two or more people. Hey, if they "love" each other, right? How can it be wrong. You see, once you say that people who view themselves a certain way have a "right" to shack up with whomever(and sometimes, whatever) they want and call it "marriage", then you will not be able to deny anyone else who wants to "marry" their goat, or their child, or anything else.
How long do you think it will be before nambla(north american man/boy love association) will demand they be able to "marry" 8 year old boys? My guess is, they already are working on it. Probably just waiting to see what the adult homosexuals can get away with.
And guess who marches in "gay pride" parades and has the sympathies of the homosexual communities? Yep, nambla.
Wake up, people. Don't let them blind you with political correctness and threats of "labeling" you a "bigot", "hater" or whatnot. Having a differing opinion does not make you any of those things. Only to them. Like I said here: Because if traditional couples don't overwhelmingly believe in and glorify the homosexuals faux relationships, they will use everything in the pc arsenal to make them pay. Because they are soooo openminded, you see. Just so long as everyone believes as they do.

Yes, some "right wing" politicians claim to accept it to get votes. All politicians are liars who say what you want to hear to get your vote. They are no different than lying lawyers, no matter the party.

Real conservatives and christian conservatives don't budge on our values and beliefs. We don't support the erosion of our american family values and morals nor do we support the removal of God from our everyday lives and the foundation upon which our forefathers built this country. They warned us about government and it is coming to pass.

One of my points was that humans decide what they will accept or deny.
There are even matriarchal societies!(Heaven forbid.)
It used to be OK for 13 or 14 year old girls to get married.
People decide.
"Rights" is another thing decided by people.

When all is said and done, and though it's been stated ad nauseam, it bears repeating yet again that the data overwhelmingly demonstrate that sexual attraction is not a matter of choice. It would therefore be abnormal for a homosexual to engage in heterosexual sex, and vice versa.
That being the case, do we have the right to deny the sexual behavior that is normal for gay people? Or straight people? The question then becomes, unless it harms us directly, what gives us such a right?
Our own prejudice, religion-based or otherwise, is no justification for stopping people from living as they are meant to. We don't have to like some people's sexual leanings, but to try to stop them is the real immorality.
