Am I saying I'm leaving Offbeat/Topix, no I won't make that mistake, as then you would be counting my posts for sure but there comes a time in our lives when we have to take stock and make changes and when posting takes a backseat to what is really important in a persons life. When the RW calls and says, come out and play and it seems that time has come for me.
I'll always treasure the friendships I made here, some are still around and others have moved on in various ways.
God bless and take care and I'll check when the mood strikes.......

I've done this many times; when hubby fell, when a foster son passed, the month one of my daughters got married, a busy travel time. I understand exactly what you mean. My reply will be here whenever you check in again, in the meantime, see you on FB!:-)

How are the cats doing? I lost one of mine at age 13 due apparently to blood clots brought on as a possible result of cardiomiopathy. My "bad cat" is still doing well at age 14 and my other cat who is also 14 had a serious health crisis where she was bloated and became partially paralyzed in her back legs almost 3 months ago, but has made a very good recovery since. Its been a long time since I have seen you here. I lost one of my two dogs to cancer at age 13 earlier this year. The other dog is now 7 and still doing well.

Sorry about your losses. Zippy is doing well and the kitties are thriving. They keep Da Dog in check, lol. Thanks for the update. I haven't been around much. Hope you had a great Thanksgiving.
