I wonder if we could get away with that logic when driving? There is no right or wrong way to drive...
The school situation is amazing down here, the kids that want to learn don't stand a chance. The so called "Magnet" schools are absolutely the worst, every miscreant thats been thrown out of other schools goes to a magnet school now. Thats not the original intention of the magnet program.......

I don't know who gave you the negative icons, but what you just said about some schools is correct. I have seen the same sort of method used in Delaware schools. It doesn't matter how the student spells a word, so long as the sentiment is expressed correctly. It really is sad to deliberately dumb down their education. It makes the student lazy.
Don't worry about the icons I never even notice them.......Here's a scary one-One of the big wigs on the school board down here doesn't want to teach addition ,subtraction, multiplication or division anymore, because those functions can be easily performed on a calculator......

Ah yes, the calculator. Students don't have to think anymore. I would suspect that all students are supposed to have computers and internet service as well. And there are students graduating from high school who have no idea how to write a check or address an envelope, and the colleges have to "adjust and educate" accordingly. It really is a sad situation.

ok, lets take them point by point.
DEA: your freedom ends with my right to be safe and secure. So laws were made to prevent people from consuming drugs and putting my life at risk. Also they are there to insure that the criminal element does not use the drug trafficking trade to put my life at risk.
ATF: Same as DEA, your freedom ends where my safety begins. I have the right to not be put at risk from people making the poor choice to consume alcohol and put my life at risk. They also are there to insure that the taxes imposed on alcohol and tobacco are collected. Fire arms. yes the 2nd amendment gives us the right to bear arms, but it does not give anyone the right to use them to harm me. Again, my right to be safe and secure trumps the right to use a firearm. I also do not think that the 2nd amendment intended for us to have tanks and rockets and missiles, so the ATF is there to prevent unscrupulous people from making, buying and selling weapons of mass destruction.
FCC: They not only regulate some content, they also insure that the right of a person to own and operate a station is not infringed upon by another person over riding their signal. They are also there to prevent people from using any and all bandwidth signals as they please, thus interfering with law enforcement and emergency channels.
Do they over reach. Yes, sometimes. Could they be revamped and made into a better organization, yes, but we do need them unfortunately and they are not unconstitutional in their concept or intent.

All your comments are wrong...sorry.

My commenst are 100% right based on the contsitution.....again sorry.

You lose no freedom if drugs are legalized....If some one is sober or stoned and attacks you or robs you doesnt change if drugs are legal...OH AND WOULD NOT HAVE A DRUG TRAFFICING IF DRUGS WERE LEGAL...PROHIBTION OF ALCHOL CREATED THE MOB AND MUCH CRIME......DRUG PROHIBITION HAS DONE THE SAME...MAKE THE DRUGS LEGAL AND LET AMERICAN PEOPLE CREATE FACTORIES TO PRODUCE IT WE WILL CREATE JOBS AND TAKE THE MONEY FROM CRIMINALS......

As far as atf goes alchol ad tobacco should only have regulations that locals can control.....AND NO REGULATIONS SHOULD BE PLACED ON GUNS.....THE CONSTITUTION IS ALL WE NEED....

FCC is s sham to control what people get to watch and hear......The stuff you mentioned could be done with state agencies....dont need a massive control the world agency like we have...

I beg to differ with you.
I am not a fan of big government either federal, State or local but we do need some controls on the actions of people, otherwise we face total chaos and the infringement of my rights by those who would have everything their way.
I do believe that Marijuana should be legalized and regulated and taxed, just like alcohol, but I do not think that all drugs should be legalized. I am not giving up my rights by regulating the manufacture, distribution or use of drugs.
Alcohol, tobacco and firearms do not stay in an individual state, so interstate commerce is rightly regulated by the federal government.
The FCC does much more than regulate some content as I stated before and which you have not refuted. Again since the air waves do not recognize State boundaries, we need a central agency to regulate the interstate transfer of the content.
I have, do and will always own firearms as does all of my family and ancestors, but the right of someone to make bombs in their basement and to own and use massive caliber weapons does infringe on my rights. I also do not want violent felons to have the right to legally own weapons nor do I want mentally challenged people having weapons. So, once again, since weapons do not stay in a specific State, an agency that operates nationwide is needed.

Of course as soon as you have no rational answer for my queries, you resort to school yard tactics, call the person you agree with nasty names, call them anti-american, call them traitors. Typical ignorant ranting from an uneducated, fool with nothing substantive to say, only the tired old slogans.
I am done with you tool. Take your foolish sloganeering elsewhere.

oh my, another veteran who has only hatred for those who disagree with him. Newsflash, I also served and still volunteer to help those who have or are serving with honor in the armed services of the United States. You do not have a corner on the market of truth, what you do have is your own opinion, which differs from mine and as long as you continue to spew filth and call names, no one is going to listen. I suggest you calm down before you have a coronary.

There was ABSOLUTELY no logic to this 'pat-down' whatsoever! What were they thinking? That when she ran back to her mother in the airport, in front of OTHER PEOPLE---FOR GOODNESS SAKE-- that a bomb 'somehow---materialized' on this little girl? OMG-
where has common sense gone?

The guards in Nazi Germany claimed to be "following orders" yet were still charged with crimes. Caution to TSA employees. The American government won't back you up when you go to jail down the road.

Maybe some of you haven't heard, but there are these guys we call terrorists, and they actually (you're gonna love this) try to blow up planes with stuff like underwear and shoe bombs... yeah I know, sounds crazy doesn't it. Well it's the TSA's job to try to find these guys before they actually, you know, blow up a plane or something. So when anyone who's already been cleared through and airport check point comes in contact with someone who hasn't, they MAY THINK the "dirty" person might be trying to pass something through without being checked. In this case, they might have thought the gramdma had exploding adult diapers or something. Now of course this is all theoretical and far fetched, but when something like this does happen, the TSA agents who cleared the terrorist might lets say ... lose their jobs or something and that's why they check little kids as well as really old people and eveyone else at airport security checks.

Next thing you know, the TSA and the Feds will likely figure to throw children, even as young as 2 years old, into adult prisons, even the Federal Supermax prisons, for not cooperating fully at the airport, and the next thing after that may well be the TSA being accompanied by armed National Guard soldiers at every airport checkpoint with orders to blast a child to swiss cheese for not fully cooperating with the bureaucratic TSA.

You know that really isn't that far fetched...
