Lions and tigers and bears, oh my! Yes, those critters terrify me, but they're still awesome and beautiful. I don't care much for snakes so I'd have to say that is probably my least favorite animal. All animals are beautiful and precious in their own distinct way and are important in the food chain. I'm not much for insects either. Now if someone were to ask that question, I'd have to say the housefly, house centipede and cockroach. Saw the huge hissing cockroach at the Smithsonian insect exhibit. Fascinating creature. The zoo attendant was holding it in her hand and it really did hiss. The Praying Mantis is interesting to look at. Saw quite a few in early Fall last year. Plenty of stink bugs too, although they never bothered me much. What is very disturbing is that I haven't seen any honey bees for the last few years. Honey Bees are important to ecology. Much of the honey you can buy is synthetic honey! Who would have thought... Sorry I trailed off from the main topic. Anyway, I'll repeat - I don't like snakes!

Gungans, especially Jar Jar Binks. I recommend wholesale genocide or planetary destruction..

Mollusks, your garden-variety (literally) banana slugs in particular. If you're walking along barefoot, and you're unlucky enough to step on one true it's no fun for the slug (to die that way) but the slippery slimy slug mucus that's left on the bottom of your foot... eeew! And it's even worse if it squirts it between your toes. There's no way to get it off except walk in some sand, preferably at the edge of the water, and let that scrub it off, because no amount of washing will do it. Rubbing alcohol, even gasoline won't cut it.

I've seen how those kinds of cats get treated...it's not with kindness that's for sure.

So, is the problem the cats...or the people who treat them this way???
