I for one, miss the poetry that Adrian shared.
Always emotional, invariably thought provoking ; his postings were a breath of fresh air in the often stale and stagnant waters of OB.
At times it brought back memories of an author long forgot.
Or piqued curiosity enough to prompt a simple search to discover something new or to find old favorites.
This reader enjoyed his postings, whether they were borrowed or not.
You're #1 on my list Tink :)

Perhaps your whole purpose in life is simply to serve as a warning to others....and that your sharp tongue is no indication of a keen mind !
Yeah....Yeah.....Yeah !
I know who wrote every piece of poetry I've ever posted here....and you are such a pain in the ass, because once again you are confusing me with someone else.
You are continually falling for the same old trap....you really are such a fool......go away and get yourself a life, and kindly leave me alone.....or better still, bother someone who cares.
"THE IDENTITY OF EXPRESSION IS THE PROWESS OF ARTISTIC CREATION LOST IN PRODUCTION OF POETRY.

Everyone knows you, Adrain, Lomac and Robin are one in the same, and not a whole brain amongst you! Much less the brain cells to pen
any of the poems you have set your name to. Stick a firecracker in each ear and light 'em up. We've grown weary of you, Spamaster.

I think we are all appreciative of the poems and prose posted. What he should NOT do is claim he wrote the poems. One loses any respect
of a person who does that.

Today I saw a little bird
pulling worms out of the soil.
Her little ones chirping from the nest,
"Please Mama, don't let it spoil!"

I saw her swallow it right down,
turned and faced them with a frown.
"If you want to eat, learn how to fly,
but watch the cat, she's very sly."

They hopped out and flew right down,
Kitty caught and ate them up.
Chirping all, they went down quick,
And pecked Kitty to death from the inside out!
Damn cat shoulda left them alone!

And yet .....
keen enough of mind to observe that in the above
you are purposely evading the issue ..
I put you a simple enough question,
you did not reply in writing ..
but ironically, in NOT replying.
you answered the question..
Since you're fond of quoting..
here's a well know proverb, appropriate to you ...
'Attack is the best form of defense'
Mmmmm....On second reflection, Proverbs, adverbs, verbs, pronouns.........

If Attack is what you require, you've asked for it !!

Your apparent Malace is only another name for Mediocrity....and because my Literature is Air, I'm suffocating in your Mediocrity.

If you were to spend more time asking appropriate questions, rather than giving your answers and opinions, your listening skills might well increase.

The social and fundamental principles of your continual denunciatory diatribe, this self imposed tirade, your monotonous, tedious, repetitous, vehement philippic, and this un-christian cowardice, the self contempt, abasement, and the submission, you have displayed here is in a word, all the qualities of the canaille.

I don't lose respect for anyone who shares beauty, regardless of the source.

I do not concern myself with a society of dead poets being offended or disrespected by people who fail to drop names as if in worship of the writer and not the words...

The simple act of resurrecting old words and making them new for a fresh and living audience, seems to me the highest compliment and acclaim a writer could expect.

After all, it is not the drug addicted, poverty stricken depressed man named Poe we recall, it is the magnificent way the words in his Annabel Lee and Raven strike the soul.

I am Robin, and I am 27yo female, that's a known fact on these threads!

The Love Machine is my "Nom de Guerre."

(LoMac) is another alias that I use......but,

I have never used Adrian DeVine as my pseudonym !!

WTF....Why would I ???

And really I couldn't care less if I'm believed or not, that's your call.......and if you don't believe me....let DeVine deny it too......that's if you can find him, because I can't.

"SYNERGY."

Ice on the bone
deny it not
sunrise mired in serpent's venom
waiting for the pulse....
to stop.

Your lucid eyes
mark the next target
dusk's revenge....
in broad daylight.

Giving no quarter
and
taking none.

The moon
grasps in full retreat
a sliver.....
then darkness.

As the ice
reclaims its dew.

DeVine.

just a quickie,
nothing meaningful

us, mutually together,
for a moment or two

just you and I, sharing
the company of words....

but craving more than
a one line stand.
