God gave us 'free will' with the ability to think and reason. He also gave us a guide book (The Bible) to guide and direct us through life.

If we worship Him and listen to His teachings He will guide us in our thoughts and actions-if we don't-He won't!

And that my dear friends is where ( why did God let this happen) begins. He didn't let it happen "WE" did. By not following God's will we have become a violent, corrupt, and sinful country. Why should we *expect* from God when we give Him nothing? We've removed Him from everything - from money to Christmas and we still expect Him to hoop in and solve our problems for us, something He had nothing to do with to begin with?

These children that 'just-went-to-heaven' to be angels to watch over us {if we ask them to}, might it be better they're there
than down here? We're only here for a short time anyhow so to know for sure they are all in heaven is a comforting thought. Maybe it's just our grief and not their souls that saddens us. They might prefer where they are.

Gods glory and righteousness extends to all humanity but only if we ask for it to. He will not force or pressure us into anything, He did not command that we do great things only that what we do is for Him. And since without Him none of us would be here to begin with that's not asking too much, is it?

He didn't. There is no God.

It is his fault. He's done nothing but GOOD for the gun lobby (eg allowing handguns into national parks, for instance) for the last four years instead of tackling the NRA lobby directly. I'm sick and tired of watching Obama support the conservative agenda.

LMAO!!!

EraserX I ask God for your forgiveness and I will pray for you also. I don't doubt you believe what you said and sadly there are many with similar feelings. Since I can't force you into believing I can only say God help you!
And in spite of what you think He will-You'll be shocked when He does! You'll even remember me saying this:

PS: I thought his speech at the high school was good.

For the record, which God is it you believe in? In case there turns out to be more than one, it'd be good to know which one you put in the good word for me. Thanks!

And yeah, I did, too. Although the policy bit was kind of out of place.

I feel sad for you..I hope one day before it's too late that you will kneel down and ask God to forgive you.My heart goes out to you.

I'm not here to cause a fight.

Just to let you know someone does care about you.

Don't feel sad for us. Some of us are just secure enough that we don't need the faith crutch to get us through life's bumps and bruises.

Same question: which God?

You know, I have never understood that response. You should be happy for me! And perhaps just a bit envious.

Now do you want the western answer or do you want the eastern answer???

The western one, it's just all random events or it's good vs. evil.

The eastern one makes more sense but it will make some people really mad......

Well, it's true.

How many times have Christians told you that you'll never get to heaven if you don't go to church? So you go to church, and the first thing they ask for is your wallet and then if you have any young boys in the family.

Religeon is a joke nowadays - it serves no purpose other than to create a marketing tool for Bisquick pancake mix and Aunt Jamima syrup.

Perhaps a better question would be: What kind of god would let something like this happen?

Religeon is a joke nowadays.

It's an avenue for charities to get tax breaks and phone numbers of little boys.

Like it's impossible to live a full and wonderful life without religeon.
