Is this the same guy who bought the ring when they were first engaged or married?
How could he not know that it was worth so much $?
Unless he was getting rid of things that reminded him of her...

It was hidden in the box!? Some of these comments don't make sense, did ya even read the article?
If it was me who bought the watch for 10 dollars, took it home, found the ring inside, seen this story plastered on the news... I would without a doubt return the ring to its rightful owner, but that's just the way I got brought up... What would you do?

You're right.
And I would have returned it too. It would have been quite obvious a diamond ring wasn't meant to have been included at that price.

Actually, think it's more likely that a $23K wedding ring is worth $10, rather than a $10 ring being worth $23K...

Just saying...

(ps: any of y'all out there in TOPIX-town interested in buying wedding rings for $23K, I've got a bag full, right next to my $46K wine...)

no way he had to of known it was her ring and the expense. the one who bought it should return it. marriage is not for me just a peace of paper that causes problems.

a hospital trip isn't ....... but
She was having a baby. I know all three times I had a baby that ninth month my fingers were swollen. When I came home, my finger fit back in the rings.

The only other $43K wine regularly available starts out with 'Oh Barack honey, I want...'
