God is neither the instigator nor the source of sin.

Please speak "gender neutral" when referring to God.....don't use terms like "he" or "him" you might offend people that are not sure of their gender (even though their birth certificate clearly indicates their sex at birth).

We want EVERYONE to be happy in here.

Thank you for your support.

LOL and OMG and WTH... and several other Internet slang! I guess the consensus so far is; we'd all better dance around the campfire at night 'skyclad'(Google it) and look heavenward thanking God for His creation, and then look down and thank the Earth mother Gaia for the wind and water she provides 8-) Now excuse me, I have to go LOL some more or something.

I'm not sure which, let's ask all the old folks suffering from Alzheimer's, ask all the starving babies around the world, ask the innocent children suffering for their parent's "Sins", the multitudes of good people with terminal Cancer, the homeless people that just want a warm place to sleep and a meal.

Must depend on your definition of "Good Guy"

Without a doubt......but first we must remember, we do not live in a perfect world.
For some, that may come much later.

I think the trick is for you to be the good guy. Then you won't have to worry about God's motives.

The trickier trick is for all of mankind to be the "good guys."

I don't concern myself with God's motives, only his promise.

Independent, I like how you think and I believe you 'are' one of the good guys. Keep sharing it with us.

I can relate to all of this in here, but I'm not full of answers on this subject.
Must be why the 'Good Book' say's something to the effect of ... Gods ways aren't mans ..

Hate to find myself in transition and be wrong. I can't see how it can hurt to believe, unless you've created your own version of God that doesn't align with the written word. Have you ever just read that Love Story in the New Covenant?

Sure, it's difficult to grasp .. You've got time if you're still breathing. May the Spirit guide your way home.

It seems to me that "God" has made many promises (or so some people think). Which one do you have in mind?

There's suffering, wars, death, and hatred that's been in the world, and yet, god sits back and does nothing about any of this.

Also, if you read parts of the Bible, it was god who, personally, slaughtered many, many people, he even ordered those who followed him to take the lives of others, as well, and to make matters worse, many of those killed happened to be infants... infants who did nothing wrong.

Here's proof of all this:

http://www.evilbible.com/Murder.htm

So, no, god isn't the good guy (far from it), he's, however, a pro-genocidal, infanticidal, murderous, tyrannical, malevolent being.

Lastly, I HATE god and I ALWAYS will HATE him, there's nothing good about this sick individual...
