believe it or not it is the health codes with digested products that concern me ...
I check the bags for expiration dates, that's always good (because they couldn't sell it if not).. and also check to see if they've been opened. It's always fine and dandy. You may need to find a different dollar store?

The little sunglasses clip thingamajig that goes on your sun visor. Usually can get two for a buck.

But my absolute favorite thing that I ever bought, were air horns. I terrorized the wife and kid for a full day before I concluded it would be detrimental to my health to continue that practice in the future...

Yep tally, air horns do blow. If you're perhaps claiming to be an expert in that field, I'll just have to take your word on the subject. I guess they also sell towels for any possible clean up on your possibly... self proclaimed hobbies?

They usually label them as car wash towels though, which is what most folks use them for. Like me....

Car wash towels, a great deal for the buck!

Talk about a blowhard.... affording to pay another guy $30 bucks for cleaning your car every-time is fine and dandy (that's nearly detail price, BTW). But as I do have help spending MY money, think I'll continue to spend about three bucks to wash and rinse off my car, like most people... unless I do it in the driveway. And that's where my cheap dollar towels come in handy.

And thanks for feeling for me, tally. And I was beginning to think you didn't have any ;).

that is your major draw back ... you have to understand retirement.... detailing is about $150 +[twice] a year spring/fall , make big money spend big money ...

and you are right for a minute . I thought you were beginning to THINK..... oh well

Hey PFfff, tell Reebie that Will said howdy. I only chatted with them a couple of times in the forum, but they always seemed like a very nice person.

Probably best if some folks faint of heart, stay away from this dollar store thread for now... as I've seemed have acquired some unwanted attention.

I'm suspecting they've probably picked up some cheap lube at one by now... and will probably throw a bag of red hots down as a form of distraction, in hopes that I bend over to pick it up. It normally would be quite tempting admittedly.. but unfortunately for him, I happen to be on to his ploy...

Just because I'm named Will, doesn't mean that I'm exactly open to everything.

I've been to the dollar store twice in my life. I went in to get paper plates and paper towels and ended up spending almost $127.00. Any place is better than WalMart!

This time of year the best thing you can get at the dollar store is wrapping paper, bows, etc for the holiday.
