http://www.salon.com/2013/02/19/north_dakota_... What is going on in North Dakota? The state successfully passed yet another restrictive, Supreme Court-baiting antiabortion measure, this time voting to define a “person” as “an individual member of the species homo sapiens at every stage of development”— including human embryos. In short: They have endowed fertilized eggs with the same rights as a living, breathing person. A move that would restrict all abortions except in narrowly defined cases where a woman’s life is at risk.

On the flipside, when these people need help because God knows there is nothing to sustain them in ND, will they be there with the help?

Politicians are not there to represent us, they are there to represent whomever has the deepest pockets. They have become a caste unto themselves.

Smartenuff wrote: <quoted text> Ever wonder what God thinks of all the abortions ? Now, do you really believe that an embryo has ALL of the same rights ? A little extreme, I think. At that stage the only right they have is the right to be born. I don't care what an imaginary entity might or might not think. I also do not support the State in their draconian measures to control a woman's body. I posted this, just because I thought it would generate some intelligent discussion.

How about liberals start taking responsibility for their own actions instead of making others pay for their poor decisions?

Maybe, and this is just a way out, far out idea that I'm just throwing out there, but maybe we should just leave the woman's body thing to women?

At least Texas doesn't have tax payers on the hook for $50 Billion or so. CA is a prime example of how zero value added liberalism destroys everything in its path.

Now, now Sammy - just because your last worthless, flip-flopping candidate lost the election for you, is no reason to be bitter[audience laughter]. If I were you I'd get busy now to try to find the next Republican commedian that you idiots are going to try to put into office in 2012.[audience laughter]
