I used to look at pennies. Some really old ones are valuable. Same with nickles.

very rare .. because the amount of inspections involved.. its value increases in its rarity .. the older the better.

Logically right. Odd coins and bills bring in big bucks. That doesn't apply to we otherwise poor human beings.

the coins i have are old (a dime, nickel) but not really worth the trouble to find someone interested. simply because there not worth enough to me.

Yeah what happened is when it was being printed, two sheets were together.I know there was only so many but how many I'm not sure. This has been about 10 yrs now.I used to manage a gas station. You wouldn't believe some of the money that came through there.Either people getting desperate or not knowing what they had.Or you had some kid probably robbing their grandparents piggy bank.

I think they (the sheets) are a 10x10 bills... I had for the longest time a $500 dollar bill was passing through a buggy stop town and was forced to break it , but told the guy I would be back in 72hrs .. of course nobody knows what happen to that bill..

and one more thing to remember in this case (collectibles) is a buyer's market and not a sellers

Must have been a long time ago on that $500 bill. They were pulled out of circulation in the 60s I think (without googling it). Collectible now...with a resale value.

This is why our economy is in the shitter. Only in America could someone sell a $20 bill for $25 (or a $100K house for $500K). A nation of economic wizards we are.

Good point. It took me forever to even see the new $5 bill. I don't carry cash obviously.
