I didn't see Avatar until a few months ago so I'll include it since I don't watch a lot of Hollywood crap. What a hot, steaming load of contrived and predictable, stereotyped fecal matter that was!

Thanks for the warning!!!!
It's in the kids bin and I said to myself "self, I gotta get around to watching this movie because of all the hubbub it got"......Now I may strike that from my list.

Actually, i just saw, Girl With The Dragon Tattoo....last night, and he was excellent in that....the female lead was outstanding....

I would rather sit through "Hobo with a Shotgun" before having to wade through that snoozer again!

Well I just paused Skyfall to say I'm half way through and not really all that impressed.
You know, I felt the same way when I saw it. Gotta think lots of the initial enthusiasm was predicated on the intense per release marketing.
And I'm a fan of Bardem, Dench, and Craig.
Think the script was weak...

I agree about Avatar. It was like a grade Z sci-fi movie of the 1950's, with a bigger budget to create inane special effects.

Daniel Craig may be a decent actor, but not my idea of James Bond. Bond movies, which used to be sardonically amusing, have become humorless and boring.

I hate to admit this, but i have never been totally comfortable with anyone other than Sean Connery in that role....possibly not into sequels...too much expectation...

Connery knew his martinis, his women, and how to loosen his tie when necessary.

I'll give Roger Moore a nod for continuing the bemused snobbery.
