Did you know that I love Christmas time?
Late in the night when Santa comes, I run outside and drop some candy where Santa's Sleigh parks. I also make hoof prints in the grass. My son runs outside, still, and checks to see if Santa dropped any candy from his Sleigh. This is usually about 5am.
I try to be as creative as possible and I can't forget about the Elf on the Shelf. He moves around the house and is always in different spots looking for good behavior.
We do that too....
We put out celery and carrots for the reindeer. We leave cookies and milk for Santa. I even take a dump in the downstairs bathroom and leave it so the kids think that Santa ate the cookies and then had to go poop!!!!....and he forgot to flush!!!! It makes the experience more "real" for them. It's a magical time of year.

I go to England every year. One time a beautiful naked woman was on the first floor and asked me to help her find her room:) My wife takes a dim view of me helping naked women but I made an exception :)I look for every time I go back to the same hotel

Did you know...

The human eye can detect millions of colors and is sensitive to light and sounds. Yes, sound. University research studies show that mild and incidental noises cause the pupils of the eyes to dilate.

According to David Louis’s book of Fascinating Facts, it is believed that this is why surgeons, watchmakers, and others who perform delicate manual operations are so bothered by uninvited noise: the sounds cause their pupils to change focus and blur their vision.

The “millions of colors” that the eye can detect are the three primary colors of red, green and blue and the millions of combinations that result from these three colors (In 1878, Ewald Hering proposed the theory that the four unique hues of red, green, blue, and yellow form the basis of all colors.)

The eye is, of course, just a lens for the brain. You actually see with your brain?

OK I gotta question for all you scientific minds...this morning after a dip in the pool, I get out for a bit...then when I just went to sit down on side of pool & rest my feet on 2nd step (water ankle deep) my ankles kept experiencing pain like low voltage electrical shock ...just enough to be too uncomfortable ...my daughter said the same thing has happened to her before at this pool...???

Did you know:

When the world was thought to be flat, Dragons were said to be at the edge of earth waiting to eat any one who dared to sail that far into the ocean.

I had a similar experience and the shock was coming from a faulty pool light. Actually, it was loose. You might want to have the pool people or management to check the lights in the pool.

good advice from one & all on thread & PM...

It's not my pool (I wish) it's his aunt's/uncle's in ground pool...they both work during the day & we can go over there when we want to swim...I called him & he couldn't figure it out either...the pool light is turned off at breaker box...the Polaris runs on hydraulics & it wasn't even on...no electricity running to pool...but he will get it checked... I would think it's just me if daughter hadn't said same thing happened to her before at that pool...

Chilli J I just want to say I really enjoy your post on this thread......they are very informative and interesting along with everyone else's too!

Thank you I love reading this thread......

I'm not one to teach but more of one to read and absorb the information for later use. Knowing exactly what to do but not knowing how to explain what I am doing when I'm doing it.

There has also been electrocutions on city sidewalks when current from faulty underground streetlight connections came in contact with damp or wet concrete.

Thanks! You're welcome! It's an interesting thread and we have Ohio Cowgirl to thank for creating it. Many posts here tell me something I didn't know. I cut and paste my own posts from an online site, so I can't take credit for their contents or informational value. I've been confused a time or two before and I'd predict I'll be confused a time or two again. LOL

Another thing it could be is static electricity is Ola and her daughter are wearing Jewelry. I remember that light I touched in the pool that day and it was a shocking feeling a good distance from it even. I could have been fried up! Torched! Burnt to a crisp!

Doesn't this site state at what point level it takes to make level 5?
You are probably right on the brink, Gem.
