yes I did know that...in the past I thought I'd rather live anywhere else than where I am especially as a teenager... but as I grew older, realized this is not sucha bad place after all...I decided to bloom where I am planted =)

I used to think where I grew up was the best place ever, but I’m glad I moved around a little bit. Unless I had no choice, I wouldn’t go back, except to visit.

I suppose I'm just the opposite...I love to travel but love getting back home...was just discussing this morning how I couldn't stand not being surrounded by trees...pines & hardwoods...will definitely stay put til the princess graduates college in 2 yrs, then who knows???...=)

Agree, with you on that one. But, I think some people are afraid they might get stalked, so I guess it's understandable.

I think if you're going to be stalked you will regardless of whether you post pic or not...and most often administrated by the googly giggly idiots that you thought surely you could trust...

Definitely! Some of these people have more than one profile too and sadly, not many can see through that, even with the same misspelled words and writing styles! Attention to details, everyone! Hope you're having a good day, Ola and I'm glad I picked indies, LOL.

To me home is wherever my family is. I could really live in a lot of places and be pretty happy. I like the outdoors, first and foremost, but even urban (I prefer a really big city, tho for that ... one where you don't have to drive to get around ... and with a lot of culture and great restaurants/nightlife) living has it's things to offer.

I've found that each place I've lived has its positives to offer and I've always focused on those aspects, but I do miss Colorado probably the most and would like to go back there or some place similar some day. I'm pretty happy where I am at now too (I like it better here than where I grew up ... just outside of Chicago), but it's just hard to beat a view of a snow capped mountain out your door in June, and I really like to ski and hike, as well.

men change their minds 2 to 3 times more than women (women tend to take longer to make a decision but once they do they are more likely to stick to it)

When my wife was pushing me to let her have one more baby (she wanted a girl ... I didn't really want anymore, but we still hadn't made a final determination), whenever there was particularly bad behavior, usually by more than one of them, I'd turn to my wife and I'd say, "Yeah, let's have another one!!!"

Well, I got my tubes tied after the second 1, and I love them both like crazy, but the way they fight sometimes makes me so glad I did it. They are getting along now, but who knows for how long? LOL

Yeah, I bit the bullet and got snipped a few years ago. Easier for me than her, even though I'm a big baby about that stuff, especially down there, which is strange considering I have never had any problems being bloodied when it came to throwing down ... it never even phased me ... I dunno if it's cause of adrenaline, but I didn't even feel it, but come at me with a needle and I get instantaneously nervous.

I REALLY, REALLY hate having my blood drawn. I don't even want to think about a scalpel ... fortunately other than the snip and wisdom teeth, I've never had to have surgery.

Haha, you're funny. You look like a tough guy, yet you're afraid of the medical world. I'm teasing, it's always scary to get stuff done to your body. My doctor said it was better for the man to get it than the woman, easier to do I guess, but he said hell no, you do want you want, but I'm not doing that LOL. I had to have my appendix removed when I was 16, got the tubes tied and have had 2 kids, that's the extent of my hospital stays. When my appendix burst, I had to get so much blood work and tests done, it was a nightmare. It's common for appendixes to go out but most people go to the hospital before they actually burst within their body. My parents had a flu right before it happened so when I got sick, they just thought I had it and didn't take me to the hospital. One night I got up to use the restroom and that's when it burst, I collapsed, my dad had to carry me to the car. When we got there, they said about 3 more hours and she would have been dead, then I passed out. Woke up 3 days later in the ICU, not a fun summer for me at all. But, that's the worst thing medically that's ever happened to me, I'm an extremely healthy person and take really good care of myself, so hopefully, that's the worst of it for me. The really f@#ked up thing was how much weight I lost. When I first went to school after that I was super tiny and everybody was telling me how good I looked, but I didn't, what a screwed up world, where sick looks good. Sorry, I'm yammering on, it's been a long boring day, you have a good one. As always, I love reading your posts.
