Honey, I know that. I went to school with my fair share of Italians.

And I would guess your jumping in and correcting me ...(yet again) that you had good back up.(not that you always right)

Told you...you got this. I (as mostly always) backed down.

You do realize I am grinning ..yes?

Just like, if I wrap it around my head...it is a babushka. And will be a babushka until the day I die.

Meteorlogists estimate that lightning strikes the earth 100 times per second, releasing built up electrical charges in the 2000 storms that are lashing the earth at any given time. Each lightning stroke travels at the speed of 80,000 miles per second--generating temps as high as 50,000 degrees Fahrenheit.

Thousands of leeches are used for medical emergencies every year. The leech’s blood sucking accelerates healing on any deep wound but especially after re-attaching a severed limb or any other deep wound. The leech feeds off the oxygenated blood that would otherwise cause swelling and gangrene. The sucking assists the flow of blood and an anticoagulant in the leech prevents scabbing. The sucking is painless because the leech releases an anesthetic.

Of the 650 types of leeches, only a small number of Hirudo species are used, the most popular being the Hirudo medicinalis. They’re usually sold 20 to a pack, at US$7 apiece.
