First of all there was no need to fire the waitress. The mother who was charged for endangering a child should have staid. As she was endangering her child, anyone with brains knows what you eat or drink so does your breast fed child. There are actually woman out there who have bragged about smoking pot, doing drugs, binge drinking then announcing they were pregnant. That too is naive and stupid, that behavior will affect the unborn. In cases like that it is best to monitor pregnancy, and if anything abnormal shows up, best to terminate.
Years ago this silly broad told me she smoked pot and took sleeping pills while nursing her baby, most times so the child would sleep, well it did, poor little girl died of SIDS! Maybe labels should be put on liquor/beer for the ignorant and stupid.

I don't think a woman sitting down and eating Pizza and drinking a Beer qualifies as putting a child in danger. What do you think would happen you idiot, The baby getting heart burn from pizza induced breast milk getting drunk from beer lased breast milk? We are not talking about a mother that packed her kid off to a bar, she sat down to eat dinner with her family your moron!

yes moderate, like a small glass do induce milk to come in. But two glasses is not a wise choice. I made the choice not to drink before I got pregnant, during and after for one year. Both pregnancies, I also quit smoking. But they were planned..lol! But I do draw the line at other things such as hard liquor, and drugs, before, and during, and a year after.

Tasha Adams sounds so chromosomally damaged already that the fetus probably won't be materially hurt by any alcohol or drugs while in the womb or nursing, anyway.

Hey at least she was trying to the right thing breast feed.
I'll say it for the folks that think like this.
She could have been on welfare & the baby was drinking FREE similac.
So she could still maintain her alcohol levels & do dope. Rick

The store manager seen that this woman was eating with her family, and the child was in NO danger. The manager would have called the police if they had thought so. The waitress was told that NOTHING was wrong, and just to be a shit stirrer she called the police after told not to. I would bet that this waitress has been a problem at this store for sometime, and this was the icing on the cake. Yes, she needed fired. If the woman in question was drunk, and out of control, I would say the waitress did the right thing.

Article did not say waitress had been a problem and this was "icing" on the cake. I say maybe reprimanded, but not fired. While we are assuming, maybe the business has had not good publicity or a very good reputation, so maybe they did not need anymore bad input, so fired her to look good. Just my opinion. Like yours..right or wrong it is what it is.
