This is like several stories. In one, 2 guys broke into a store and photographed each other using digital cameras in the store.

And there was the one were the woman used Facebook to catch a burglar, though to be honest, had she not been using Facebook, she'd would not have been burglarized. When you put up a page saying, "I will eat at [name of restaurant] around 6:00 PM, and then watch [name of movie] at the local cinema," you are really saying - "Please rob me sometime before 9:00 PM." But at least she did have home surveillance. Then she placed the pic of the burglar online, and someone PMed her saying she should check it against her friends list. There he was, and she called the cops, and they did the rest.

Lmao stupid criminals are soo funny. They deserve to get caught.

I cringe every time I see my friends posting where they are. Signing in or whatever. The worst is when ppl post on vaca. I'm like really, just tell everyone hey I'm 800 Miles from home or the countdown to vacation post. That is just giving the thieves time to plan for it. Smdh

The good news here is that the police are saved the frustrating process of taking the suspect's mugshot.

That digital technology stuff is a little complex for them.

LOL! I love hearing about dumb crooks. But here are some typical scenarios:

1. Someone visits the police department to report how their drug dealer ripped them off, and they bring the "product" to the cops for evaluation.

2. A drug dealer attempts to sell drugs in a police station parking lot to uniformed police officers.

3.A pair of thieves steal a pair of walkie talkies from a pawn shop and immediately use them as they drive away. They know the trucker slang and 10-codes, and the one gives their 10-20 (location) to the other crook, and the police officer listening just in case they did just that.

4. A car thief steals a car with a cell phone inside. The thief answers the phone. Someone is calling about the car asking if it was "still for sale." The thief is probably thinking, "That's great! Fast money, and I don't even have to drive this to the chop shop." So he tells them where to meet him. Then comes a couple of police cars.

5. Leaving evidence at the scene is a common one. Crooks have jimmied doors with their own bank cards and forget to take them with them, robbed banks using the back of their deposit slips to write the robbery notes, and even propped open doors using arrest warrants or other legal paperwork.

6. Robbing a store and leaving with less money than what they started with, like giving a $20 bill to force the register open just to get a few dollar bills.

7. Getting foiled by clever clerks, tellers, or customers. One guy demanded that the clerk open the register. She said he had to buy something first and refused. So he tried to steal the register, only that he forgot about the cord. Then someone else remembered the cord and tied him with it.

Or, take the man waiting in a bank line to rob it. It was probably a Friday afternoon as it was full. He grabbed a deposit slip off the counter and wrote his stickup note. Being tired of waiting, he went to the bank across the street with the note. The clerk noticed it was written on the other bank's stationery, and noticed he wasn't too bright by his spelling. The note probably said, "Gib me yer munny!" She told him that she should not honor the stickup note, since it was written on the other bank's stationery. Feeling defeated, he returned to the first bank and got back in line. You can guess who arrived soon to arrest him. The teller at the 2nd bank called the cops and told them to meet him at the first bank.

8. Perverts are often as bad as the crooks. A man acted like he was shopping as he repeatedly looked toward the clerk. He was waiting on the other customer to leave so he could make his move. He grabbed a can of beans. When the store cleared, he went to the counter. While the clerk was ringing his purchase, he unzipped his pants and placed his genitalia on the counter. The clerk grabbed the can and slammed it as hard as she could down on the offending object he placed on the counter.

Aren't pervert's just crooks to begin with? They are often robbing someone of their innocence, self worth, trust, and sense of security.

Good point, though there are different categories of pervs, such as those who keep what they do to consenting adults. It might be vice crime in some cases, but between consenting adults and not harming others. And most don't find exhibitionists to be too threatening, though they generally don't want their minor children around them. Some probably feel worse about voyeurs.

Some of the headlines (titles) are misleading.
I thought 'Selfie' was pertaining to something else.

Never mind !

I went on an unexpected trip and forgot I left cat inside. Now cat would have been fine for a day outside, but inside we don't use a litter box (does business outside, unless weather is unforgiving).

Anyways, I later give neighbor (thought I could trust this 70 yr old biddie) a key in case that ever happened again, she could let cat out. The following week I hid my car for four days so I could avoid all the unexpected visitors. Well the old biddie decides to stop by at one in the morning. She was lucky I don't own a gun.

It was my fault, she got away with it and I suffered because of it. Long story! Moral of story, Lesson learned.

There's a difference between kinky and perverted. Kinky is consensual and harmless. Perverted is non consensual and violent.. At least in my definitions..

I also noticed that bit of the usual screed.

Even apart from "kinky," the word "perverted" does not (have to) mean "perpetrating."

Perverted can be fun when consensual as well. Just saying.

Okay. I just looked up both words and they look similar enough and there's a chance your kinky and my perverted may be the same.

So anyways and back to topic, anyone that rapes another needs to be severely punished. There are too many willing, able and/or desperate for a piece, that no one should take it from another that is unwilling.

At this point I'd be willing to be raped. I'd put up a good fight though, but children should NEVER be touched inappropriately. Off with their HEADS ! Pun intended.
