So sad, as we are trying to reestablish wolves into our northern areas, after years of their near extinction....very rare incident....

Agreed. Beautiful animals. Never feared wolves growing up in New England (except camping at night in the woods. Could never get used to that.)

Ifyou ever travel to Washington state, in Tenino is a wonderful place called, Wolf Haven...where they have maintained space for two complete packs and it is a great opportunity to both see and photograph them at close range.....

Alarming! But it was written a long time ago, this would start to happen. Animals are going to fight back sooner than later.

This attack is all thanks to the DNR and those wolf activists. Sick or not this wolf entered a populated campground and attacked a large person. The DNR and wolf rights people want these animals all around and are reintroducing them to areas all around the state. Eventually somebody had to get attacked. Luckily it was a big person who was able to fight it off. However, wait until a healthy hungry animal decides to take a small child for its dinner. Thanks wolf lovers, just what we need!

We should be trying to conserve the wild wolves in isolated areas, we also need to keep them in isolated areas. The DNR should not be re-introducing them into populated areas. Our ancestors nearly irradicated them not because they were evil but because of the threat to humans and domesticated animals. Wild animals should be wild and not be close to areas where humans frequent.

The same goes for the other animals that the DN is introducing to populated areas such as bears and cougars.
I live in a rural area where this is happening. While it is a rural area, people do live here. The DNR seem to think that just because it is not a metro area it is ok. They have lied to us and stated that these animals do not live here, however with the increase in trail cameras, they can no longer deny the existence of these animals in our area.

Lol - I have a theory that in 10,000 years man will no longer be able to step foot in the ocean. After all, sharks will certainly figure out over time that we're nothing but defenseless meatbags completely out of our element. And Dolphins will be totally fed up with us by then for hunting them, tangling them in our nets, and making them do stupid tricks to entertain us. They'll kill us just for spite. Crustacean will certainly want revenge for all of the seafood platters, And jellyfish will have grown so large from all of the nuclear waste we've been dumping that they too will partake in the joy of feasting on surfers. Itís just a question of time.

I've no doubt you are right. Sounds right, could happen. Love the 'meatbags'.
Great B movie material. Better sounding than some I've seen.

If you ate a kid's head, you'd be sick too.
