Lol! Wow!!! Yeah I'm joy too happy with my daughters choice of young men either!!! The one she is dating right now is kind of slimy like a toad! We don't like him at all!!
Good luck to your daughter! Cheers!
Why do they pick those guys?
The most positive possibility I can come up with is that they want to help people.
A coffee cheers back.

(Fisherman's brain wrestling with itself,'should he write it or not?' Oh, WTH!)
Wadders? Those are two condoms I brought back from Switzerland!
If the dayum government would just provide receptacles for them, they wouldn't end up under pool tables!

I have the same problem with my sons.
It seems the crazier the better with the women they choose..
They have issues, issues and more issues...

Maybe it's 'opposites attract'?
Or, they want to be their own person. So, what ever the parents want, NOT THAT!

Good morning, O C, Fish and all you other fine folks here. I agree on the iffy choices my kids previously made on GFs and BFs. I've sat back and observed, but at some point said: "You're kidding me, right?" Dang! LOL You folks have a great day!

I don't need to think about that. There were several who come to mind. To put it mildly, I was a bit of a handful, over the years. LOL

Come to think of it. They probably weren't too happy when I brought home that Rambler with a loose head gasket. Or, test drove that Simca with the bad ball joints. Or, for that matter, the Camero with the oversized hood scoop!

My most questionable kid car choices were a '59 MG and a '74 Renault Gordini. Man did I enjoy both of them. The first, because it was a classic Brit roadster. The second because it went 130+ mph.*grin*

So, you like those European models.
Was your MG a 'B' or midget?(Did they make 'A's' in '59, I always thought they looked good, a little like a Jaguar E Type- big front end.) I had three friends with midgets and one with a 'B', they were fun cars. Those midgets had such a short narrow wheelbase, they could go down logging roads!

I thought the MG-A's looked pretty cool, too. Years ago, a friend let me drive his Midget -- ah, such a twitchy little thing! A couple of streets were less than "glass-smooth" and over-correction to the bumps was an easy thing to do.
