You are absolutely right. I wish the article gave more details. I would assume that the ACLU (Anti Christian Lawyers Union) was involved. We are promised freedom OF religion not freedom FROM religion.
OoOoOoOo that was a damn good point, no one has ever put it that way.

Actually, freedom of religion could very easily be interpreted as freedom from religion. An atheist shouldn't be forced to study any particular religion, therefore he/she would freedom FROM religion. If you choose not to partake of any religion, in America that is your right.

Shut up, this is a domestic issue. Don't make it an international one.

How was Retired making this an international issue. I'm not following your logic. Please shed some light on my ignorance.

I meant to say leave the other religions alone. This is basically a christian issue in a christian land, don't bring the Koran into the picture. Comprendo?

Just read about this guy and the latest news that he's been accused of some yet-to-be-specified "inappropriate" behavior.
When I read that he also had asked a black student if her name came from her 3 daddies (and admitted he had said this)... I was shocked that such a blatant, horrible racist would be allowed to return to teaching. Why is this man still teaching?
Does he hide well under the guise of being religious? Seems so.

Oh, he was just misunderstood. The "three daddies" he was referring to were of course; the father, the son and the holy ghost! Have a potato.

"no atheists in foxholes" - I hear that often from religious fanatics.

Just where do you get this? Where is you proof? Ever been in a foxhole?

Or is just another fairy tale?

I had a really foxy girlfriend once, and I was in her foxhole on several occasions. I never did ask her if she was an atheist. I didn't even care. Have a potato.

Don't believe everything you read... I promise you even if he said that it may not make him a racist... Ill throw one here and tell me if I'm a racist... Blacks commit more violent crime and look at Chicago, Memphis and Detroit.. All have a black majority! Am I a racist??? No but folks like you are quick to throw out the race card... Now were the blacks who raped, killed and burned that white couple two yrs ago were racist?? Yes! One admitted it!!

Good for her. The teacher should be applauded and given a pay raise! Blessed be the name of Jesus!

"Let's never tire of doing good" Gal. 6:9-10

I wish more teachers were like this one. Like the judge that stood up against a kid being named Messiah.

See these are the kind of persons we need in office!:-)

The above deserve respect and are doing God's will.

Great sacrafice for great faith is taken literally. That's how Jesus wants us to live.

Got faith?

The teacher did right. Thank Jesus for her. More like her should do what she did. Many fake ministers discourage the bible outside their church business.

Gal. 6:9-10 ...let's never tire of doing good...

Like the judge that stood up against the parents trying to name their kid Messiah.

Retards always get their way in the courts. Just like the cowards pusing gay marriage on everyone.

Boycott anyone?
