Thank you sweet person for posting your thoughts.
The question of psychics, prophets, and soothsayers has puzzled man kind for far longer that our little lifetimes.
Some believe the Bible is full of future truths.
Some believe people like Edgar Casey or Nostradamus had the inside scoop.
Some ( like this writer) just watch and wonder with curiosity, derision or amazement.

If psychics were actually legitimate, why do they advertise in the back of cheap magazines instead of making millions at the horse track?

does a higher power really give one certain person the ability and priveledge to see a future.....?? seems kindof cruel to me,,
however, I think a lot of folks have different abilities to capture the heart of someone,, pull out details,,and "see" circumstances from that....some are incredibly good....

then there are those who sell their souls to the evil one for fame wealth and power...but someday they will burn in hell , be dammed to live with the Kardashians and Miley Cyrus..

(last comment made in jest...sortof )

This thread had some potential. I was kinda hoping for weird experiences people have felt.

For example, one time while walking on a path, I looked up at a building and stopped dead in my tracks. I swear I saw that exact same view in a dream years before.

Deja vu? Maybe. But it was just odd at the time. It stopped me for about half a minute and then I went about my day for there were things to get done.

No way to prove it. No way to harness it. Just one of those strange things.

JMHO and I am by no means an expert in anything other than blinking and breathing, not yoga.

If we are talking about out of topix then yes that "weirdness" has happened often to me. Learned early on to accept it and it happens to everyone at one time or another. <ahem>I know of some people though that took it a little on the other side and started with sťances, candles and water, etc... So sorry that's just not me. Like I told her then, "THAT actually feels unnatural to me."

I think of it in terms of two possibilities.
One- it's a memory flincher, you probably were there and didn't remember and one thing triggered another and like a disorganized closet or attic or basement you tripped over a memory that toppled over a doll, onto a rocking chair, over chest that snapped open pushing up a tin toy's hand that was on a trigger pop gun that goes off. The cork hits the cuckoo clock and out pops up that memory. Happens quick, you don't know where if came from but there it is... <err, whisper>I know... me cuckoo cuckoo too...

Two- something led you there like a mouse following a trail of cheese which is what I think happens most often in topix and some don't notice the subliminal tailoring involved.. mind you some are more obvious than other and others are .. well.. very well tailored. <giggle>

..........THEN of course.........

There are the other two options:

Three- You were captured by aliens in your sleep and now have a device implanted in your brain that sometimes has the hiccups cause it's not a new design it's actually remanufactured from some other guy they used in Kentucky but they were tried of looking at his turkeys and fishing rod 'cause that's how he liked to spend his time. Now it's in you and when that Kentucky guy was home he watched TV that shot of you looking up was actually in the show and now it's in your head as replay.

Four- You were born, died, resuscitated and now have flashbacks!!!

I don't know about you but three sounds interesting.
