I agree.
If America doesn't like the way China is, we shouldn't do business with them. We can make anything they can and that would make more jobs for the US.
Cheap labor, America is in love with that, no morals.

Hold on, hold on...wait a second.

Take a look around you at what is currently made in China. Your hard earned dollars pay for that Chinese-made TV set, stereo, the steel for your new car, construction materials, cell phones, computers, etc., etc., etc. Now, before you decide not to do business with the Chinese anymore - consider, really consider, the alternative. Ok, say we now buy our brand new LG TV (made in China) for a cool $399 from Best Buy. Kick out the Chinese? We now have to pay $1,500 for the same unit because Fred, our neighbor, makes $21 an hour assembling them in Johnstown, Ohio. Ya'll complain about the cost of living skyrocketing now? Just wait...

Are you telling me that we, America, can't make high quality goods? Or do companies just buy there because it's so much cheaper buying from a china man who earns a cheap pay?
Well, I say that sucks and "we" should have those jobs here <<--- and not there --->>. We need to keep our money home.
Unions?... phfftt! We'd have to get rid of all that too.
If we had more jobs in America and let these cheap companies pay more to import their goods or use US labor for less ..... tsk tsk tsk.
I know you're gonna come back and bust my bubble, but IMO, we have solutions to many of the problems we have. IMO, we have an outdated, grossly ineffective government.
I have loads of opinions, lol.

Whether he is right doesn't change the fact that, IMO, our business practices are wrong. Our whole system and government needs an enema.

I already know M69 is smarter then me, but I stand by my opinions.

I'm not even looking at the quality - on the contrary - I'm only looking at the cost. Cheap Japanese, Korean and Chinese sh*t has been a mainstay of the American lifestyle for decades.

Why else would a "true" American drive a Kia?

While I have never owned a car with anything but an American sticker, one can never be sure that the parts it is made from were manufactured in the USA. I seriously doubt there is even a single car assembled in the USA that doesn't have foreign made components.

You may be right. I had a profile several months ago . I had a nicer name but I got the same reaction. My name was Nice Angel or something like that. I gave up after about 10 posts, and today I couldn't remember my password so I made this one.
