Impossible to turn sideways on the Zipper at any time!

It has come to attention that some pranksters who want to make carnivals less fun for singles have come up with a very twisted and horrible excuse to ban single riders from practically the last thriller ride still in our carnivals, the Zipper. Their claims are that, even with the door closed and locked, a person would lift his/her legs up and turn sideways inside the gondola. But from my experience riding the Zipper, that is totally impossible. The lap bar is way too tight a fit to allow that to happen, plus the inside shape of the gondola, especially in it's position to that of the lap bar, would certainly prevent anyone from successfully turning sideways, even if the person tried with all their might to turn sideways.

Some people are-so-skinny if they turned sideways and stuck their tongue out they'd look like a Zipper!
They even have to stand in the same place twice to make a shadow.

I'm serious, people!

I have been riding the Zipper at carnivals for many, many years, and not only have I never heard of anyone turning sideways in the gondola, but when riding solo, I could not even bend over sideways due to the good old lap bar and the inside shape of the gondola even when I tried, let alone turn myself sideways!

This "no single riders" junk is strictly meant to punish the single-person population!

I've enjoyed quite a few zippers in my time.

I have ridden solo on the Zipper innumerable times; more than I could count, and I have NEVER had ANY problems at all whatsoever while riding solo on the Zipper. I am 6 feet 2 inches tall, and I have never turned sideways, never bumped my head, or anything, while riding solo on the Zipper. Always came through without a single bump or scratch, even riding solo on the Zipper. And I am talking about the carnival ride known as the Zipper. Nothing else.

It's even worse. The Windy City Amusements carnival company, located in Chicago, Illinois, is even signed with an INSURANCE COMPANY that FORBIDS Windy City Amusements from allowing single riders on the Zipper!

Somebody better call the Mythbusters on this!
