Leaving anyone including a dog, in a hot car is inexcusable.

But..I did know a dog that would honk when it was horny.

Man I'll drink to that!
When I go to church, I usually take my dog inside with me, especially on Hot Days. One Sunday he kept passing gas and the preacher made him sit in his own pew.

zounds like a smart dog to me!
Mine used to do the same thing so I finally just bought him a used bugle at the pawn shop (he kept running the battery down), and stuck the business end up his anal aperture. Now he has learned to F-art the Star Spanule Bannaner in C flat/minor in 4/4 time. Sometimes, if you give him a nice doggie treat he will toot the "Lady of Spain" and howl at the moon at the same time.'really P-sses off the neighbors, but who am I to tell such a talented pooch cut out all that f_rting at midnight!! What do you think??'Wish I could find a "DEAR ABBY THREAD"!! Oh, what to , what to do!

have to be totally honest here, my dog has had more offers than I have...and I have to ashamedly admit that I got him 'fixed'.

That dog owner is an idiot. She needs to get chained to a hot room for 1 hr. and see how it feels. How she can forget that she has a dog in a car is beyond me. She better learn from it, otherwise next time she makes that same mistake, her dog might not be so lucky.

I doubt it. I'm think the dog will make more of an effort to get out with owner, next time she leaves the car.
Try hitting your dog on the nose with particular item. Then do it again tomorrow, the doggie will back up as soon as he see's your walk toward him/her with that very same item.
...well, a smart dog. And she has a lab, one of the most intelligent breeds.
I used an empty paper towel tube when training our dog. the dog is now 10 yrs old and to this day whenever I remove the empty tube he runs even though I haven't swatted him since he was a puppy

I love how judgemental everyone becomes when someone ELSE makes a mistake. What is it that that fellow from Nazareth said, "He who is without sin cast the first stone". She obviously loves the dog or she wouldn't have paid to take it to the vet.

Well, in your own words you're judging us, thus casting a stone.

A mistake is leaving the lights on or locking your keys inside the car. I am continually amazed by morons anxious to condone or overlook the behavior of like minded stooges.

This stupid woman does not deserve to have a dog.
How can you just forget your dog or kid in the car?
