It's up to 45º now, suppose to have rain. Another windy day too, knocked over some items on my deck. No frost here yet, perhaps further up there has been. It's coming tho, a freezing crystalline morning soon.
Now, gotta let me in on the joke with the birdies comment, your "lol" eludes me.

No real joke Red. I just remember reading about some of their antics, how they screech (is that the right word?) and demand attention. I can just picture you, just waking up, hearing all the noise in the bird room and saying "all right, all right, I'm coming" Like children, all wanting your attention at once, and it just brings a smile to my face.....

Good Morning Princess and everybody! Starting out chilly here today, but should get into the 70's by afternoon. I'm finally feeling a little better, so that's good! Still have a cough, but...this too shall pass?
Today is our annual chili cook-off and all I can smell is chili! Our judges had to cancel so I'm scrambling to get a couple more. I have confirmed 1 so if that's all we got, that's all we got! LOL! I just hope we have a good turn out.

Oh yes, they do screech, squawk, chatter. I call it Jungle Time, lol. In the morning they're very quiet until I take off cage covers, then the insanity begins. They have out time if I'm home so I have to watch them closely. They are like 2-3 yr olds, into everything if at all possible.

Hi there FC. I understand, I always look for your post, and know the day is complete.

I finished mowing the front and the back yard today--I'm hoping that's the last of the mowing before spring. I COULD mow the side yard one more time, but if I don't, then no big deal. It's reclaimed meadow anyway, so I leave it a bit longer than the actual yard.

Still got work to do as I put the flowers to bed for the winter months. This weekend Oki and I are going to get plastic up on the raised beds for the winter--gotta protect the rosemary and sage.

Good morning, Princess ... WOW! You've been a busy lady this morning and I've not even been up an hour ... Just now I'm on my second cup of coffee ... that's my limit anyway ... it's decaf ...
I did finally catch up on my sleep all day yesterday from my trip to Choctaw Casino ... I must've needed it, lol ... did lots of shopping and made many deals on summer stuff ... made out like a bandit as they say ... got a beautiful Brighton wallet for my niece and she'll love it ...
Before I left for my trip I looked at the lantana outside my garden and noticed it was in full bloom so, like a nerd, I took a photo and put it up on my facebook ... no big deal but I like to see little things like that ... so would that make it a perrenial? however you spell perrenial? okay, no google for today, lol ... I loved it just the same ... The pomegranates have grown as well and Jax plays with them as soon as they hit the grown as if they're tennis balls, haha ...
