Okay, I am no fan of Obama. I think that he is a terrible leader. When he does not get his way he tries to make his loss as painful as possible for the American populace. If the voters catch on to this tactic of his it will not serve the Democrats very wall.

But I can think of nothing that Obama has done that comes even close to being an impeachable offense. You can't impeach a President just because you do not like him.

Yes, there will be near riots as people entre the polling booth and can't find 'Obama' on the list. We'll hear them shouting "Racist vote-suppressing Conservative-controlled voter fraud!"

And so it begins, my step-son is trying to get health insurance, the problem is that he was born in Germany to American parents. His birth certificate and passport were destroyed when hurricane Sandy hit and the MA exchanges won't take his NY drivers license as ID due to new rules enacted by Obamacare.
I'm trying to help him out but so far the best advice that I can come up with is to change his name to Jorge Hernandez and claim to be Mexican and here illegally.

When your whole lucrative career hinges on staying in office it's so much safer to get one of the lemmings. Low profile assures reelection, not being innovative or questioning the status quo. If the voters know nothing about you except yours is the same name they saw on the ballot the last 12 elections then it's a lock they won't think before voting for you again. That's the reality of how it works in that alternate universe called 'The District'.
Did ya rejoice when Dan Burton retired? Speaking of low profile, what's Susan Brooks been up to?

Haven't seen any kind of speech or interview from her similar to Stutzman and Rokita. And that's a good thing.

Lylah, if that's pertinent to post #211 ...

Credit due Josh Barro, writing for Business Insider for those excerpts copied from the intentionally broken link at the bottom of the post.

Seems to me that like quite a few on here, who you calls out depends not so much on the behavior, but who is engaging in the behavior. Case in point, calling out the republicans in the house for passing legislation that the senate would not pass, but not calling out the senate for passing legislation that the house would not pass.

Don't know that a Hispanic name is a wise choice, given Obama's tendency to persecute white Hispanics.

describes that an impeachment proceeding is dependent upon a state's constitution.
I had forgotten, if I ever knew, that Judge's could be impeached, but I still don't think that congressmen can be impeached--I do believe that's something else--censured, perhaps.
