It's the way a person with no factual position debates. In a nut shell...so to speak, he's sayin' that because the people that actually work & make money hadn't come up with a way to give it to people that don't, his way of though has been legitimized by pure logic.

<quoted text>Have you ever seen a political party so powerless? Voter fraud is a documented .00044% of voting and, stymied by that, all they can figure is to make it harder for non-cheaters to vote!
Florida blew $200,000 bucks on drug testing to the 2% of welfare recipients who might toke on a joint (that they didn't even necessarily buy with tax dollars!) and, stymied by that, they want to eliminate welfare entirely- across the nation- because- what else COULD be done????
Same with healthcare. They've had decades to come up with their own plan (and they did) but, failed to implement it and have spent the last few years and MILLIONS of dollars foolishly trying to rescind their own plan and go back to square Zero.
Simply, these people do NOT know how to govern anymore than the guy who kicks his dog for everything that goes the least bit askew.
The citizens are powerless while these two parties can't agree or work together on anything.

Now they want $15 an hour, next week it will be $20 an hour. I have a small electrical company and cannot afford to pay $15 an hour for helpers and laborers. I was brought here as an infant and managed to make a living on less than $8 an hour in my younger years.

You'd have made more money getting a degree in electrical engineering and working for NASA. As the Conbots here would say, stop your crying, thats on you for slouching off and expecting more out of a "small mom and pop electrical" company.

Some peeps just arent cut out to be bidness owners.

When wages go up, prices go up to cover those wages. End result is we bring more money home, but have no more than we have now.

Your business: You don't really own it, just as you really didn't build it (so you've been told by Fearless Leader). So your business decisions shall lie in the hands of the government. Government knows best.

Prices have gone up while wages stayed stagnant. That's a given. Prices for the employer (fuel, raw material, etc) have gone up, too.

What happens when we can't afford what they're selling?

Prices have gone up A LOT while wages- particularly the minimum- have stagnated. So, I don't think labor costs have that much to do with it. I'm sure they'll use that as an excuse when Congress gets around to bumping the minimum up a quarter and all hell will break loose on the Dollar Menu. But, they'll just raise the prices of everything (a) because they CAN!(b) Because they just have to tell Fox news that "fearless leader FORCED them to...." and then (c) Topix tards can regurgitate that!
Also, Barack Obama did not invent government, ya effing idiot.
Minimum wage is by its nature 'stagnant', as are the jobs that pay that wage. The solution is not raising the minimum, thus encouraging the number of workers stuck with earning it to increase, but to get out of the minimum wage prison. That, however, requires something more and more workers do not have, namely motivation to climb out of their rut.

The Government is good at locking people into their class status, by pretending to 'help' through increased, meager, token handouts. Just enough, mind you, to keep them voting for you, but not so much that they can become self sufficient and not need your charity.
