Let's start with the greeters, they are put there to greet, but often seem very selective over whom they shall extend a greeting too...

You can be as bias as you want at home,(regardless of the bias)...but when hired to represent a store that's there to take your money, in exchange for a product...greeters should do just that...greet everyone equally who walks through those sliding doors...

2. Floor personel...

If I ask you where an item is...please show me that you value me as a custimor, and take me to the product, instead of just pointing and saying 'It's thadda way'...or 'It's over there, in that section'...

3. Cashiers...

When Myself, or another custimor makes a large purchase of say $50.00 or more...how about showing some gratitude towards the custimor by saying 'Thank you for shopping at Walmart, please come again'...

Why would anyone work in such a custimor based department knowing goodness well they're not a people person?

Why burden the rest of us shopping public with your sower mood?
Why not be a stocker, in the back room, where you can frown and scowl all ya want and it won't effect the moods of people checking out.

4.Ask to see my reciept on the way out and you'll get a big fat NO...
No longer will I allow my dignity to be trampled on by some low skilled door greeter, by implying that I may have stolen something...

If you think I stole something...detain me, call the cops, and document it, so I can have a record of our 'error'...

But to just ask to see my reciept, without reason or cause, is not something I will allow any store to do...once I buy it it's mine...it's none of your business what's on my reciept...

As a few of them have already found out..

Also...

If I'm going to make a purchase over say $100.00, for one item, I'd like some opinions about the product...

Walmart...if you see a custimor lingering around an item of price...more than likely they have questioned they would like answered...like at high end stores...

No one wants to by workout equiptment or a desk or fancy camera that costs over $300.00 and not know anything about it...

But at Walmart, do to their low class floor personel...they'll walk right past you 5 times, and never once ask you 'Are you finding every thing ok?'

When I make big purchases, I like to be prompted to do so...nudged a bit, I want to know my dollars are valued at whatever store I'm spending at...

Instead Walmart floor personel walk around like zombies totally spaced out, unless of course they think your trying to steal something...

And unfortunatly that's how a lot of those lower end department stores are geared to think...

The employees are low end, and have never been around 'class' and 'elegance' or 'royalty'...

And those who shop there are usually low end also...

Tonight makes twice I've ended up going to Walmart, and then leaving without makeing the big purchase i wanted to do to them not having what I saw online...

Just to end up going to a more 'profesional' high end store, where they know how to treat you, and making a decent sized purchase...simply cause floor person showed interest in me, concern, helped me find exactly what I wanted...

Instead of shadowing you around like some dorky low IQ store detective.

I paid $119.00 for a pair of shoes the other day, simply cause sales person at store, waited on me, was patient as I tried on different pairs...had they not done that...I would not have made the purchase...

Walmart is to big to fail, so they could really care the less about induvisual shopping gripes...upper management or owners may as well live on another planet...

The only time they care to listen is when large law suits are levied against them for whatever reasons...

Sadly though...higher end places that treat shoppers special are becomeing more and more rare...most are just there for a pay check now...

Oh and topix, tell your advertisers that I will never buy a product from a auto audible add on here...

That's totally rude to blare adds on here...it's disruptive and stressful and slows down computer...

And I won't buy their products, companies on here that do that...

I shop at Walmart only occasionally. My mother gets her prescription drugs there because it's much cheaper then a lot of other drug stores and she's on a fixed income since much of her money went to my dad's nursing home care. When I pick her meds up, I usually browse the store. I feel kind of guilty though, considering the people that manufacture the goods that are on Walmart shelves, get paid next to nothing and work long arduous hours 7 days a week. Rarely do they ever get time off. Many are underage. Of course, most everything these days is manufactured and shipped to America. Also, I've heard that Walmart treats their employees like crap. Don't know how true that is, but I wouldn't be surprised if it was.

Lol! I've never worked for Walmart. I worked a desk job for many years before retiring. I just wanted to comment about the mistreatment and slave labor of the Chinese. I watched a documentary recently about the Chinese workers. What a life. You wonder how they manage. Disturbing and sad. Some of my friends feel the same way.

Just because you got fired isn't any reason to be bitter.

Btw - I hear Taco Bell is hiring 3rd shift.

You are under NO obligation to comply with the Walmart doorman if he asks to see your receipt. However, the major thing they're looking for is an employee who may be in cahoots with a customer and might be ringing up a TV set as a can of coffee or something.

At a Sam's Club or any other member's only shopping site, you probably agreed to such scrutiny when you signed up. That is completely legal.

Dear T&S

You want to pay low prices but get the same service you would recieve at a store that has more staff with all the answers.

Didn't anyone ever tell you, you can't have it both ways???

You can have one or the other.

BTW, posting your probs here is only good for venting. Try sending an email or letter to the them. Nothing we can do for you but agree or get a good LOL from your posts........

"Walmart...low class store, low class shopping experience..."

Simple answer.....Don't shop there.

If it's a low class store......
If it's for a low class shopping experience.....

Maybe, just maybe, it's for low class shoppers?

I met a lady recently that works for Walmart. She said the only thing she didn't like, the way the work is set up. They can work a lot of days before they get their days off and they might work a long day before they finally get a meal break.
