If you've ever attempted a getaway after stealing a Christmas tree, you just might be a redneck.

And the cops are pining to catch him before he branches out to other types of crime. Of course, the crook hopes the cops would just leaf him alone.

DUH, if the guy had of had lights, then he might have just sailed on by never been noticed. For sure he needs one of this caps with the built in lights.

Wonder what kinda motor he had rigged up?

Do you think the cops had to do any racial profiling or was it the tree, bike and intoxication that gave him away.

Did they read him his lights, um rights? Will this teach him a lesson, or will he branch out to committing other crimes? And will his fellow inmates needle him over this?

I saw a christmas tree the other nite over on the side of the interstate, against the barrier wall. Maybe the dude lost it during the snow storm, and couldn't see it for the blowing snow.

The cops completely missed the fact he was really a bicycle thief.

Like in the story about the sand. A Mexican was on a bike with a bag of sand on his back and crossing the border. They asked what he had and he said it was sand. They detained him, analyzed the sand to check for narcotics or explosives, and discovering it was sand, they put his sand in a new bag, gave him his bicycle back, and set him on his way. That went on for like 2-3 years. He was at a bar and the border guard recognized him and motioned him over to where he was. They drank together for a bit and the guard brought up the subject. He was like, "Hey, something is bothering me. It keeps me up at nights. I know you have to be smuggling something, but we check your belongings and we find nothing. So off the record, can you tell me what it is?"

The Mexican replied, "Bicycles."

I just finished cuttin my Christmas trees for the year. I probably need to get me one of those junk yard dogs to guard thme during the nites. Do you think a Great Pyrenees would be a good choice?

They're big but I don't know that I've ever seen one that was mean. I had two and they never met a stranger.
They were great with kids.
I guess burglars might trip over their giant piles of poop.
