mmm... tortilla, believe me Nfree you'd take it over a stuffed cheese shell loaded with homemade sauce and freshly grated parmesan if you went with me on a truck up a one lane road by the side of a mountain and higher we go the smaller the river becomes til it looks like a small stream. Then we'd go into the junlge and maybe have to cut a little here and there to get into the village and turn into the dirt road that has a sidwalk! Yeah the only one in town LOL. Then near the old enormous mango tree there's a fogon de tierra, and a fire pit, iron skillet and the women there make fresh ground tortillas. Between the sweet scent of mango, the calling of tropical birds, the burning wood, and the fresh corn tortillas cooking... I think you would like the tortillas best.
Cuz you can sit and eat them on the hammock or we can eat them at the stream where morning glories have crawled up trees in bursts of purples and pinks. Of course we have to bring a machete! LOL Just in case... maybe a gun too.. LOL
