National security expert Eliot Cohen observes via e-mail,“ A ‘red line’ implies a use of force – a serious use of force at that. If they don’t [follow up on that], then they have to know that everyone will notice, to include Iranians, North Koreans, and Chinese. On the other hand, my hunch is that they may have few good options for taking these things out, if indeed we know precisely where they all are.” He concludes,“So I’d say that they’re in a fix.”

Responsible lawmakers are practically pleading with the president not to cave. In a written statement, Sen. Marco Rubio (R-Fla.) argued:

“I know where you are,”

I think he just wants to make sure before he goes in guns a blazing, boots on the ground and getting us into another war.

I heard this morning that there has been a trace found in some of the blood tests given but they are not sure ( exactly) where it came from...

Obama has time, after all the UN will have to write a letter to Assad telling him that they don't approve. When he does it a again they will send him a strongly worded letter.
This should give Obama time to figure out how Bush gave Assad the chemical weapons, maybe they were stolen from Iraq between the Gulf Wars? Yup, that has to be it, Bush smuggled Iraq's WMD's to Syria.
Once Obama has figured out how to blame Bush for making him go to war those Syrians better watch out.

Is a dilema for Obama. Since he started all the horseshit over in the middle beast (remember the Arab spring?), now he's just going to have to deal with it. Probably won't turn out well for any and all concerned. Par for the course.

The 1991 uprisings in Iraq were a series of popular rebellions in northern and southern Iraq. The uprisings took place in March and April 1991 after the Persian Gulf War. The mostly uncoordinated rising, often referred to as the Shaaban Intifada among Iraqi Arabs and as the National Uprising among Kurds, was fueled by the perception that the power of Iraqi President Saddam Hussein was vulnerable as well as by anger at government suppression and the devastation wrought by two wars in a single decade, including the Iran–Iraq War.

These uprisings were inadvertently encouraged by the United States and George Herbert Walker Bush, the 41st President of the United States.

Seems it runs in the family, eh?

So now the Syria fiasco is Bush's fault??? That's stretching it a bit, no?

See post # 13. This isn't about Iraq or Bush. It's 2013, Obama's been president for 5 years, and it's about S Y R I A. Which Obama instigated.

The blame game?

As I said we don't need another war regardless of who did what.

Haven't we lost enough lives?

When will it end?

My point was...in answer to your statement...the Middle East isn't a new problem. They've been killing each other since Jesus was a fetus. Syria isn't a fiasco yet. If nothing is done, then we can talk fiasco.

Speaking of which, what would Mr. Good Good do to take care of this ugly situation?

Remember, because of the sequesture, we have very limitied military options. Maybe tie African Shadows on the head of a cruise missile and senf him in?

Not for these clowns. Syria is Bush's fault, Obamacare is not a tax and voting for Obama 6 times is not fraud.

He shouldn't have instigated the "Arab Spring" in the first place. Instead of Democracy, most of the M.E. will wind up in the hands of the MO BRO HOOD. Nix the African Shadope though. It would end up being a dummy round.
